Prologue: The Star-King's Regret

Impotent.

Never before had I even fathomed that a day would come where I would be plunged into such a miserable predicament, that I would lament my actions to this degree.

I had given up my Omnipotence as well as Omniscience, with intentions I myself no longer have knowledge of, having abandoned that information as well. I no longer was the being that could do anything with a mere thought, that knew everything there was and was not.

Those are the only memories I have of myself in that state, for after having been incarnated as a Supreme Star-Spirit into a separate Space I quickly left to its solitude. Then all I was left with was my will, with no other sentient being to interact with.

That is, however, not to say that I was utterly alone. I had the 8 Grand Sprits, which later became known as the 8 Great Holy Sprits, but they had no wills.

The Great Holy Spirits, which I call Grand Spirits, are Archetypical concepts that serve as the foundation, the attributes, and the Laws governing the principles of the World. Beings like Elemental Spirits are merely off-shoots of these Great Spirits. They existed before the Creation of the World, and before my birth as the True Dragon as well.
Great Spirits are unobservable by anything, even if you understand their concept, you cannot perceive them. Each one of them serves as the source of Concepts and Information.

Great Spirit of Water which governs the concept of deceleration, fixation, flow, and motion.

Great Spirit of Fire which governs the concept of Fire, Flame, Explosion, Combustion, and Acceleration.

Great Spirit of Earth which governs the concept of Directional Axes which gives Space and everything a sense of direction, etc.

Great Spirit of Space which governs the concept of Isolation, Dimensions, the very Space-Time Continuum itself serves as a form of Isolation.

Great Spirit of Wind which governs the concept of Cutting Dimensions, Tearing of Space, etc.

Great Spirit of Light which governs the concept of Holy, Purification, Existence, Positivity, Purity, and Yang.

Great Spirit of Darkness which governs the concept of Demonic, Corrosion, Nonexistence, Negativity, and Yin.

Great Spirit of Time, which governs the concept of time existing throughout the Multiverse itself, including all its Dimensions, Worlds, and Timelines. It is unbounded by all previous Great Spirits and rules over them.

However, with them lacking any sort of sentience, I sated my eventual boredom by experimenting with them, which is how I came up with the idea of creating other wills which could interact with me.

However, I myself knew that doing so would not be a short or easy task, so to accompany me in this endeavor, I created 7 Spiritual Beings, the kind I termed 'Angels'. They had weak egos and followed my tasks like what those humans call 'machines' but that was a huge improvement from the Grand Spirits, who did not even possess a semblance of a soul.

After all, not only did they have potential to mature, but also possessed a watered down version of my ability, which was the Administrative Authority, which like myself, allowed them to interfere with the laws of the world and raised their existence to the Ultimate.

Creating Worlds was quite an entertaining task. Using the Grand Spirits as the source, I crafted a myriad of Distinctive Realms, each of them consisting of countless worlds. I was it's backbone, just as the other True Dragons that manifested after me, while the Grand Spirits were akin to the flesh that it comprised of. After all, their Energy was what gave rise to them.

However, as time passed, I realized that one of the powers in my arsenal, namely Nihility Energy, which I had separated into 『Imaginary Collapse』 after establishing the system of Skills, was not suited to be used in the worlds I had created.
