The fact that Fuyuhiko clearly views Peko as equal to him, is actually so sad. He only got to tell her how much she meant to him, when she was about to die.
(At least she wakes up from the Neo world program, along with everyone else, bc if they just killed her off I would-)

Also this is my interpretation but:

Fuyuhiko used to always be agressive, particularly to Mahiru, who was agressive to him. However, is it just me, or does he seem semi forgiving/ remorseful?
Its like, he's not badmouthing her, he genuinely seems regretful.

Theory time:
Mahiru Knew About Peko and Fuyuhiko.

Fuyuhiko himself has no idea when Mahiru took the photo, and he didn't get along with Mahiru for most of the game.
Mahiru herself says she only takes photos of people who are happy/ smiling, because she wants to bring joy to people.
She clearly kept it secret too(probably to respect them?), because even fuyuhiko himself had no clue Mahiru got the photo.
It's also in her nature to be curious, because then she would get good photos, so she probably knows a lot more too. It makes sense for her to know about them.

Either way, this is just a theory >.<
