It has been around twenty-thousand years since I got stuck in Earth. Since I left Siris for good. I have learned a lot in my ongoing journey here. The language mortals use to communicate, how to survive out on my own, how to sew clothes and how to tell apart poisonous food with safe food.
I currently live inside the forest I arrived in, more specifically in the spot with the magical pond and the ancient tree. My life here is calm and soothing. It's really not as bad as I imagined when I first got here. I still miss my home planet, but that doesn't stop me from living happily. But something that truly hurts me is knowing how long it's been since I have seen my husband, Raido.
My appearance hasn't really changed since I arrived here in Earth. The clothes I usually wear look identical to the ones I wore back then. A long, white, flowy dress with laced, floral straps and a white criss-cross jacket. I made them myself, and I decided to make them look the same. My shoes are also pretty similar. Golden and silver sandals are pretty common here in Earth.
The only differences in my appearance now are that I wear an elegant yellow flower crown with a small veil attached to it. The amount of flowers and materials on it make it quite heavy. I have used a spell on the flower to make it heavier aswell. By doing so, I am training my head to handle the weight of my crown from Siris. That is, if I can ever place it on my head again. Despite my endless struggles and failed attempts of returning, I still have hope.
Another difference is, I leave my hair long now. I have tried many times to dye it blond so I can blend in with humans more, since white hair isn't really normal except people with albinism. But if I had to be honest, I'm pretty bad at dying my hair. Something always goes wrong. It's either gonna fry my hair off, give me ashy green spots in my hair, or even dye anything but my hair.
I walk down a narrow path in the enchanted forest, my hands behind my back. My long, wavy hair is blowing in the wind behind me. The sound of birds chirping and the wind moving around the leaves is filling the air. The scent of berries and elegant flowers floods the atmosphere.
I breathe in the smell of freshly baked pasteries from the nearby towns. I don't really like communicating with other humans, so I have never even bothered trying to find a place to stay in the nearby towns. Plus, living in the forest is quite enjoyable if you know how to survive. Or, in this case, if you're immortal.
I pluck out a leaf that was stuck in my hair. I was lucky that it actually turned blond this time. I walked down the pebble path that the mortals had created some time ago. Or was it a century ago? I can't remember.
I reached my usual spot, the magical pond. I walk towards the pond and crouch down next to it, my feet are almost touching the crystal clear water. I reach for the strap of my sandals and take them both off. I roll up the bottom of my dress a bit and I soak my feet in the refreshing water. This helped me bear the burning temperatures in the summer.
I take off my jacket and fold it to place it on the grass. I sigh and look up at the sky to admire the clouds that looked like the nation of Liliver, the goddess of the Wind. Peaceful, yet so vibrant and beautiful.
I relax my mind a bit, trying to enjoy the nice moment. But honestly, I can't take the heat. I hate summer. I always have. Raido tells me stories of how I used to throw tantrums because of the summer temperature when I was younger. Or atleast, he used to.
When I'm done cooling off, I take my feet out the water and wipe them dry on the grass. I don't usually carry a towel on me, so this is a last resort. I put my sandals back on and wrap the straps around my calf. I secure the strap and get up. I wave my hand in the air and summon a paper fan made out of light magic. I take it in my hand and start waving it around to cool myself up a bit.
