It's crazy how fast your life could change and you soon find yourself falling into a new routine. A routine that somehow doesn't feel so odd, no matter how different that new routine is.
Today marks the first anniversary of Jungkook's and Jin's so-called wedding.
Someone casually congratulated Jungkook which made him think deeply about how all those months went by. Did all that time really pass? How did it go by so fast? Is a year not much time? How come he's already used to his new how much his life has changed? He thought he'd be struggling to deal with Jin on a daily basis, but that's not what happened. Despite Jungkook's initial despise of Seokjin, he's now seen many different sides of him that he just can't feel the same way anymore. Maybe he simply learned how to tolerate Jin better now, or maybe he understands where he's coming from now that he's lived with him. Also maybe it's the food he cooks, or maybe constantly having sex with him changed the way he sees him.
Jungkook did realize that Seokjin's personality runs deeper than it looks. Seokjin is not as impulsive as he had originally thought. Rather than his personality being about how he acts without planning, Seokjin is actually an overthinker. If there's something that he's focused on, he thinks of all the possibilities that could happen, which baffles him! Why Jin's 'business ideas' never worked before? Did Seokjin never care if they failed? Did he deliberately fail? Because ever since he started actually working, he's been coming up with impressive ideas. The campaign he led for Yugyeom's company has been a great success.
Jungkook was brought back to reality when Yoongi entered his office.
"What are you thinking about?" Yoongi asks him.
Jungkook looks at Yoongi, "Did you realize that Seokjin and I have already been married for a year?" Jungkook leans back in the chair. "A whole year!"
"Umm, yeah?"
"How did all that time pass?" Jungkook asks again.
Yoongi shrugs his shoulder, "Like everything else passes. What? Are you suddenly reflecting on your life?"
"I guess? How come I've been married to Seokjin this whole time? How did I endure it!"
Yoongi raises a brow at him, "I thought things were going well? You haven't been complaining lately."
"That's not the point, yes we're dealing with each other much better now, but how? I never imagined that I could be that close to him and for all that time too!"
"Isn't it obvious?"
"What?" Jungkook asks dumbfounded.
"That you probably like Seokjin now?" Yoongi answers matter-of-factly.
Jungkook is taken aback, "I don't like him! What are you talking about? We've simply found a way to be more civil with each other."
"So all that time living together, all that sex you're having to be more precise, didn't change anything in you?" Yoongi asks.
"Not in the way you think! I do understand him better but that doesn't mean I like him." Jungkook defends himself.
"Really?" Yoongi asks not convinced.
"Yes, really. And stop giving me weird looks."
"These weird looks are for a reason! Are you trying to convince me or convince yourself with that bullshit? Don't you realize? You don't shut up about how amazing your sexual life has been lately. You're talking nonstop about how great he cooks for fucks sake!" Yoongi tells him truthfully.
"And that doesn't mean my feelings have changed! Look Yoongi, I appreciate you always giving me your honest opinion, but don't act like you know me better than myself!" Jungkook tells Yoongi.
