"Navia honey are you ready for the dinner?" My mom shouted but I ignored her.
"Navia." She said coming in my room, "Navia why aren't you dressed?" She asked.
"I don't wanna go."
"What? Why?"
"Because I don't want to!" I said shouting a little.
"Get up. You're going." She said.
"Mom I don't want to!" I said and she looked at me.
"You're going, that's the final answered." She said and she walked out.
I then got up and wiped my face. It was reddish. I then started putting some makeup on to cover my pinkish face and once I was done, I put a dress on and fixed my hair.
"Navia come out now." My dad said and I sighed.
I then walked out of my room and into the living room.
"You look lovely, let's go." My dad said.
Once we get there, we walk in and everyone was already there.
"Sorry we took a little long, someone didn't wanna participate." My mom said and I rolled my eyes.
I then sat next to one of the girls since both of them were sitting next to Wayne.
"What can I start you guys off with a drink?" The waiter asked.

"This dinner was very nice." Jennifer said.
"I agree." Lenny said.
"So Wayne, when are you going to get a girlfriend? You're smart, athletic and handsome." Jennifer asked.
"I don't plan on dating no time soon." He said and I looked down.
"So is there no one in the picture?" She asked, "Nope. No one I can think of."
He said.
My eyes then got blurry again. I was thinking about what he said to me earlier.
"Mom." I whispered and she looked at me and notice I was about to cry.
"What's wrong?" She asked, "Can we please leave?" I asked and she nodded her head.
"Excuse us. We have to go." My mom said.
My dad then put money on the table, "That's for our meal." He said and we all walked out.
"Honey, what's wrong?" My mom asked.
"I just don't wanna be there." I said and she hugged me.
"Let's go." She said and we left.
Once we got home, I got in my bed and quickly felled asleep.
Next Day
"Navia, it's time for school." My mom said waking me up.
"I don't feel good." I lied, and she touched my head.
"You feel fine but I'll let you stay." She said and she walked out my room and closed my door.

"So how are you and Navia?" Henry asked passing me the blunt.
"Alright." I said smoking it.
"It didn't seem alright yesterday, you went fucking off." Nathan said and Henry laughed.
The bell then rung and I walked out.
I then walked in first period and waited to see Navia so I can talk with her.
