Joining the scout regiment

DADDY

Ever since I can remember titans have control over the world, because of them, we are never able to live out side the wall, or know anything about the outside world.
My father has the most important job when it comes to keeping people safe from titans, he's part of the scout regiment. my father is allowed to go outside the walls and learn about titans, and kill any that gets to close to the wall.
My father is my hero, if it weren't for his bravery, and his courage, we wouldn't know as much as we know about titans. My dad works along side captain Levi, he doesn't do a lot of killing, my dad study's them, and helps find more ways to kill them and protect humanity.
Usually my dad doesn't leave the wall, but when he does captain Levi makes sure he has extra protection. my mom doesn't have a job because she spends so much time taking care of me and my brother Casey, and I know if our dad gets hurt or dies our family will fall a part because we wouldn't have any money.
My father is on a trip outside the wall, he's left because he wanted to get more intel about the titans and better/safer ways to kill them. He's been gone for three days and Is supposed to be back I'm two days, which is good because we are running out of money and food.

Knock knock knock

"I GET IT MOM!"

"Hay kid is your mom home?"
"Captain Levi......"
"Well?"
Omg am I blushing/stuttering in front of the best titan killer(my opinion) of all time, I am such an idiot!
"Ummm...yah one minute."
I ran as fast I could to get mom when I heard.
"Wow, your fast!"
I turned to see he had a little smirk on his face!
"mom, captain Levi wants to see you."
My mom looked up with a look of joy on her face, something I haven't seen on her face for as long as I could remember!
"Really is dad there?!"
Now that I think about it!
"No, he's not, just Levi"
"IT'S CAPTAIN LEVI TO YOU! HE'S NOT YOU PAL!!!"
After mom was done yelling at me, it hit me and her.
"Go upstairs and wait their, don't come down for any reason. understand."
The look of joy was gone, I couldn't tell if she was angry at me or disappointed that dad wasn't home yet.

I ran half way when I turned around, I couldn't help it.

"Hi Captain Levi, what can I do for you?
My mom had a fake smile on, but she was standing awkwardly.
"I am sorry miss......"
"NO!"
"I could protect him I am truly sorry, we were trying to get a sample of titan bloo..."
"SHUT UP! YOUR JOB WAS RO PROTECT HIM NO MATTER WHAT, YOU FAILED! AND NOW EMMA AND CASEY WILL BE HEART BROKEN, ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!"
I didn't notice until now that tears were running down my face and I was shaking non stop, then I couldn't help it
"Mom, Le- Captain Levi, is it true, dads gone?''
I swear when Levi saw me come around the corner he almost fall to the floor crying.
"Yes Emma, it is and I am truly sorry, I understand if you don't forgive me. I COULDN'T PROTECT HIM, AND BECAUSE OF THAT, YOU, YOUR MOM, AND YOUR BROTHER WILL SUFFER! ALL BECAUSE OF ME!"
I couldn't help it, he needed it. first I was standing their then I was in Levi's face raping my arms around him. I couldn't tell if I did it for or for me, but I could tell it made him fell better.
"Emma."
I let go in a flash, afraid it was uncalled for and he would yell.
"Thank you."
The next thing I know I was being pulled into his torso again, but not by my own free will, by Levi's free will!

After Levi let go, he took me aside and said.
"I can tell your confused about why I said thank you after you grabbed me."
His eyes were still red from tears.
"Ya, a little, I thought you were going you yell at me or something. it was out of line, I am very sorry."
It was very awkward because he looked at me softly, not like I was a stupid teenager.
"It's okay, I said thanks because I needed one for a while, and you were the only one who noticed that I needed it. Anyway, I want to tell you something from your father."
My heart stopped, was dads last words for me.
"He told me to tell you to do what ever it takes to keep you family safe, and he will always watch over you. any that's what he said, I have a lot of things to do and I am sure your mom doesn't want to see me again so, good bye Emma."

******time skip******

Later that night I couldn't sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about dads last words. I couldn't sleep at all, I was wide awake all night. at about 2:35 I really needed to get out of the place with all the memorize. I had to run, and get away from reality.
Their is a hill right up the path in the valley, were I always go the think or in this case reality.

As soon as I got up to the top of the hill, I fell to my knees, my hands and face were wet from my tears, and I couldn't help it
"DADDY WHY? WHY YOU?WHY KNOW? PLEASE DADDY PLEASE COME BACK! DADDY PLEASE! I NEED YOU! Daddy."
