We all prepared for rehearsal. I lifted my leg over the bar. David came next to me.

"Damn, you got a nice ass babes." He said to me smiling. I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Shut up." I said. He kissed me. Miss Kate came in the studio upset. She looked like she had just been crying.

"Guys, we have some bad news." She said sniffling. Giselle looked serious. "Daniel, got into an accident coming here. He broke his leg and he's in hospital."

"What!" Giselle shouted. I suddenly felt guilty. He could've died. And I stole his crush.

"And there's even worse news. Elite want to compete , in their studio, in a dance battle."  She announced.

"HELL YEAH!" West shouted excited. Everyone else agreed so we decided to go.

Elite Dance Captain

We were waiting for TNS to come in our rehearsal room. I sat down stretching when they finally came in. I stood next to Lucien, the owner. I was dance captain. I saw them come one by one but stood next to each other.

"Hello The Next Step." Lucien said. "So the first round are solos. Next are duets."

I saw this brunnete girl come and do the first solo and her name was Stephanie. I know she can't beat me. She was just at average of dancing. If she auditioned for Elite there's no way she'd get in. But when this Emily girl did her solo, I knew that she was above a good dancer.

We finally moved onto the duets. Stephanie and David did one. James and Riley, Michelle and Eldon, Emily and West and Chloe and Tiffany. It was my turn to pick someone. There  was this girl who had ginger hair and she looked lonely because no one danced with her.

"Hey Ginger Girl! You're gonna be my dance partner." I said to her. She came to me.

We danced to a song called "Tied To You". I lifted her up and I don't know but everything felt amazing. The song, the dance, the timing, her.

She danced in front of me and her back lied against my chest. I put my hands on her waist and let her control me. She was really good at dancing.

We got the votes and Elite won this competition. It was really for them to see that they're not good enough to beat us for Regionals, except for that girl.

"Giselle was really good." I heard Tess, my bff, whisper. Giselle. That's her name. Such a cute name!

TNS left our studio through the back way. I ran over and followed them, hoping to catch Giselle.

"Hey Giselle!" I called out to her. She turned around and looked at me with a blank face. I stepped forward to her.

"Yeah?" She said. I smiled at her.

"You were really good." I said to her pulling my vest down. She smiled. Her smile was so beautiful I felt like my heart melted.

"So were you. Well, until then, see you at Regionals." She said, putting out her hand for me to shake. I took her hand but I brought her closer. Her lips met mine. Surprisingly, she didn't back away but she kissed back. She pulled me closer. I cupped her cheek and pulled away.

"I, um, love you." I said to her.

"I love you too." She smiled.

"We need to keep this a secret okay?" I said.

"Okay. Here's my number." She said. She gave her number.

"Giselle come on!" Emily shouted from the distance. I kissed her one more time and she left. I went into the studio with a smile on my face and a pink blush brushed on my cheeks.

Giselle was just perfect for me. But I really hope that no one finds out like Lucien because he will tell me to go behind her back and use her. I can't do that to her.
