Chapter 19: Investigation

No one's POV

It has now been a week since Reshin has been awake and he's been having a reoccurring dream ever since...

Reshin's POV

I see myself in a dark place while feeling a dangerous presence I look behind me just to see a dark red mist

Reshin: where am I?

???: in your deepest,darkest true self

I turn to the voice just to see myself but with blood red eyes which contained so much hatred  and black clothing

Evil Reshin: you'll submit to me someday but for now enjoy some pain

Reshin: shut up!

Sayori then appears with his hands around her neck as he unsheaths a darker version of my Dekiru

Evil Reshin: you have your Dekiru,I have my Dekunobu

Sayori: why...couldn't...you save me big brother?

He then slits her throat while the blood sprays on my face

Reshin: SAYORI!!...YOU BASTARD!!!!

Then bodies start appearing around him and I'm able to recognize some of 'em I see Megumi,Tinoma,Keigo,and my master Kutosaki-sensei...with my teary eyes I feel like words are choking me...

Reshin:...no...no!...NOOOO!!!

then Lightning starts swirling around my body and my eyes glow a bright white-yellowish hue and lighting escapes from it and air swirls over the lightning around my body like a hurricane

Evil Reshin: and this is just a little of what your truly capable of
...and all you have to do is just accept me and stop running,stop denying...afterall I will be your key to becoming the Mage king

Reshin:...no you are not me...your just an illusion this is not real!...it can't be...all you are is just and embodiment of rage and negativety you can't be me!

Evil Reshin: you'll need my help chosen one...until then tomorrow night go to the docks in the city of vernale

Reshin: huh!? Chosen one wha-

Evil Reshin: don't worry all will be revealed until then...

I then look at him the back at myself and see that the lightning has died down a little and the wind around me has reduced in verocity

Reshin: I  think I will name this spell or transformation...storm mode...

Evil Reshin: eh it'll do...until next time...friend

Then my Evil self starts to fade into dark red and black particles...

Reshin: you are no friend...

I jolt awake covered in cold sweat as I find my self in my dorm room with my team on their beds asleep
While Frosty is...lying on my lap...no wonder why I'm feeling so cold...

Reshin: I really gotta get to Vernale...quick

4 hours later...( cause I'm lazy :| )

Reshin: huh....I....finally...made it....jeez....I need water....

I make my way past the busy crowd...honestly I'm not really used to this is never actually been to a city before... and it's getting dark

At the docks...

As soon as I Reach the docks I see its actually...empty until I see some shady lookin guys carrying crates that have a weird symbol on them
And it kinda looks like a snake

Reshin: hmm... should I get my team involved...or Kutosaki-sensei...no I have to deal with this myself

After waiting at least an hour more I see something shocking
I see that Asteroth guy and....Oh no...The mysterious man too but more importantly how the actual hell did That creep break out of custody but at least now I think-no I'm sure I could take him

Asteroth: come on idiots be faster we don't have all night the Mistress is waiting

M.M: shut up you incompetent fool let them do it at there own pace

I still don't understand why or what there even doing

Asteroth: once we get this artifact to the Mistress we will become even more powerful and we shall over throw the Mage king

W-WHAT!?! They want to overthrow the mage king but why would they do that even in this time of peace...even with how powerful he is I still don't know any thing about this...group?

Reshin: maybe I need to tell Kutosaki-sensei afterall...

As soon as I was about to escape I accidentally tripped on a steel pipe making quite the sound

Goon 1: huh whose there!?

Asteroth: go check it out if it's an intruder...dispose of them

Goon 2: yes boss!

As I see them come this way I can't help but panic  but incase of a fight I unsheath Dekiru

Reshin:'Oh shit now I'm panicking now I know that I  shouldn't have come here...'

Goon 1: you check that way while I check this way

Goon 2: don't boss me around...fine

As one of the goons goes toward the other side the other one comes here so I hide in position

Goon 1: hmm I don't see nothin maybe it was just a rat afterall

As he's in the perfect position I dash past him and slit his throat before he could alert the others

Reshin: what have I gotten myself into...

Goon 3: huh I think I heard something?...

Goon 2& others: us too

Reshin: welp there's no need to hide now..

I then jump out from my hiding spot alerting the guards

Goon: get him!!

As soon as I land I start slashing at any one who comes near until I try to destroy the crates which probably had something of value in it

Reshin: wind burst!

I soon as I release that burst of wind the recoil is enough for me to stumble at while at least destroying a few crates which had some mana crystals...but why would they need so much?

Then I use shock on an incoming enemy paralyzing him

Reshin:Thundershock!

As I zoom around with lightning trailing behind me I slash anyone who gets close while destroying more crates

Asteroth: no not this brat again!

Then he lunges at me preparing to land a fire ball which I counter with a volt orb leading to a beautiful display of fire and sparks of electricity being sent to the air

Reshin: awww missed you too

Asteroth: don't be so full of yourself brat! I'll have you know I've gotten stronger!

Reshin: oh please my only mistake was not ending you...

( welp that's it for now see ya next chapter let's see if Reshin will make it out in one piece!)
