Rung was about to bring his sword down upon the half dragon when a bright light began to envelop the cell they were in. He brought his arms to his eyes, as the light seemed to bring something into existence.

As the light began to die, a soldier dressed in strange armor stood in the middle of it. When the light was gone, the soldier was what had remained. They were covered in Blue armor, with a black skin tight suit underneath. They held a strange contraption that neither of the royals could identify. Then the soldier spoke.

"Wow! That was very bright and lasted really, really long." The voice was childlike, almost as if were they just a over sized child.

The man looked around, checking their surroundings. He turned towards the two, studying them for a minute. He then asked, "Excuse me, are we at a renaissance fair? If so, why does it have a dungeon?"

"What sorcery is this?!" Rung exclaims in both anger and terror.

"I'm Caboose. I don't know what you mean by sorcery, is this part of the renaissance fair?" Caboose asks.

"It matters not who you summon, monster!" Rung exclaims as he raises his sword once again.

"What are you doing?" Caboose asks innocently.

"I will cut you to pieces!"

"No! Please, Save Me!" Irene exclaims desperately.

Before Rung could react, Caboose had suddenly appeared next to Rung. Caboose held Rung's arm in place with a singular arm as Rung struggled to free himself.

"I don't really know what's going on except that you are trying to hurt a very scared half dragon lady. Hey Freckles, can you tell what's going on?" Caboose asked, turning his attention to his weapon in his right arm.

"After scanning surroundings, pheromones related to pregnancy are detected from the woman the man is currently strangling. It is highly likely the child is not his, so he wishes to kill her because of it." Freckles replied, surprising the two his weapon could talk.

However, they didn't have the time to focus on that as the air turned to ice. The stone floor began to crack around them, torches on the wall turned blue, the metal bars screeched as they bent away from the cell. The very magic in the air began to vibrate violently.

The source was Caboose.

"So you are attacking your pregnant, defenseless wife because she slept with someone else?" Caboose asked, his voice filled with anger and disgust. His grip tightened around Rung's arm, causing Rung to wince in pain.

"She is turning into a dragon, eventually she will go mad and kill us all!"

"So you decide to give her reasons to murder instead of helping her?" Caboose said, "As her husband-"

"I'm no longer her husband!"

"Oh. Is that so?" Caboose asks as he raises his foot. "Then I no longer have to hold back."

Caboose kicks Rung to the far wall, Rungs sword arm still in his hand. Rung screams in agony as he clutches his stump of an arm. Caboose grabbed hold of Rung's throat, cutting off the King's scream. "You should be careful what you say. While words cannot do physical harm, words will however anger others into beating you with sticks and stones."

'The... precursors... are real?' She thought to herself. She shook her head to clear her mind. 'I can think about that later. Right now we have to escape.'

"Angel of the Precursors!" Irene shouts to Caboose, causing him to look at her in confusion. "We have to flee before his soldiers capture us!"

"I'm not an Angel. I'm Caboose." Caboose replied, his voice then deepened once more, "But okay. Let me just finish this vermin off."
