The teleportation stones did not only teleport them there, it sent them with enemies too. But on the bright side, they were just normal enemies like Goombas, like Mario was used to. But Yasie didn't do well with them, and neither did Luigi.
"Eep!!" She screamed. "What are those?!"
"They're a normal enemy." Mario told her. "Max attack is one, HP is 2. It's not the most threatening thing we'll see."
"Oh, whew. I thought they were going to use their pointy teeth for something..." Yasie told them, grossed out.
"I'm used to them too." Luigi nodded. "They aren't as bad as they look."
"Maybe you shouldn't judge a book by its cover." Umucha said with a serious tone.
"Hey, I've dealt with millions of these things before, so let me to attack them!" Toadsten exclaimed, puffing his chest out.
"N-no, Mario has the most experience with these enemies. He should be the one to attack them." Culop told them from the jar that Mario put her in.
"She's right." Luigi nodded.
Mario sighed and made a face. Then he began to charge at the poor Goomba, who knocked out instantly.
"Wow, that was splendid." Umucha said with a not-so-impressed tone.
"That was awesome! Can you teach me sometime, please?" Yasie asked, hugging onto Mario, pulling his overall straps to her chest. Okay, now this was just awkward.
"...Maybe later, Yasie." Mario told her, sliding her hands off him. She then pulled away, extremely flustered. Her whole face was red, including her cheeks.
"So, where do we need to go?" Culop asked.
"Well, somewhere in Tokyo, that's for sure." Yasie said sarcastically. "Let's march on, I'm sure we can find someone to help with directions!"
"She's right, let's-a go!" Mario then walked on.
The co. searched and searched for hours and hours...but they couldn't find anything. Until they heard a voice that sounded elderly.
"Hehhhh... Hey young fellers, you lost? Well, buzz off!" The old man chuckled hoarsely. It would assume the poor old man was drunk.
Yasie then spoke. "Excuse me, but could you direct us to the nearest--"
"Dooooooon't matter! Eeh, hah, the boss surely won't let you 'round these parts!"
"Boss? What boss? Has he heard of Mamusha?" Luigi asked.
"Well, I think she's bearin' that a group of heroes is comin' to save the day. But she's crazy!! AH HAH!! You suckers wouldn't last a week with her! She's loopy, crazy! Ahh, hah hah!" The old man then skipped around, leaving the group to process.
"Bearing the news that a group of heroes are coming to save the day. Save from what?" Yasie asked.
"Save the people from Mamusha's clutches." Culop told the gang.
"We need to find their hideout, and quick." Umucha said.
"So he came from the west, where he said his boss was..." Toadsten told them. "Maybe we should follow his footprints!"
"Good idea, Toadsten!" Yasie exclaimed. Then the group started off on their way to where the boss was.
Soon enough, they found a town square with no one except a woman and a bull.
"Welp, nice knowing you, guys." Luigi mumbled, trying to turn back, but Mario grabbed the back of his shirt.
"We need to get to the boss. This isn't that bad, right?" Mario told him.
"Yeah, I guess..."
The woman with the cowgirl hat smirked at the bull. She had a mocha skin color, chocolate brown hair, and green eyes that drove the bull mad. Her tan plaid shirt was radiating with the sun, and she wore long shorts. They were long enough to reach the start of her black boots. And this woman was the boss.
"¡Ven a mí!" She yelled to the bull, translating from Spanish to "come at me".
The bull now was super angry. He charged at the woman, raged growls coming from its snout. She then put the cape up, letting him go, then once he hit the cape, he knocked unconscious. There was a weight behind the cape, and the crowd went wild.
Culop flew over to the scene with her wings, the others following. "What a great performance!" She beamed.
"Oh, why thank you, fairy. And who are you guys supposed to be?" The Mexican woman asked.
"I'm Culop, the fairy. This is Mario, Luigi, Yasie, Toadsten, and Umucha."
They all bowed at her acquaintance.
"Nice to meet you."
"Oh, nice names, you guys. Very unusual names." The woman then regained her composure.
"My name is Rodrica. Nice to meet your acquaintance, Mario." She at least remembered one name.
"Anyways, have you seen Mamusha around these parts?" Culop asked her.
"I have seen her minions pass by these parts, but not herself, even though we have both met in person before."
"You have?!" Toadsten exclaimed.
"Sí. There we were, like a high showdown in the Midwest. Everyone was counting on me to save the town from her, but I did not think I could do it. Mamusha brought her servants to attack against me, but I was the one that lost. Thanks to that, the whole Jollymuch Town has been nothing but chaos and ruin. The bull was sent by one of her loyal minions. And yes, she has minions other than the purple creatures."
"Whoa. I had no idea." Luigi rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Sí. And this is why we need to stop her from engaging her plot. And I know that you guys are the heroes that will save the people." Rodrica nodded.
"Hey, you look like a very capable young woman." Toadsten observed. "Would you mind joining us?"
"Oh, it would be an honor."
PARTNER GET!
Rodrica is now a teammate with the heroes!"Thank you all. It will be a pleasure working with you."
Culop smiled, seeing their faces all beaming. But then she regained her composure.
"We should get going."
They all nodded.
"Sí. The fate of the eras lies in between our grasp."
Then the group, along with Rodrica, exited to the next part.
