Ill miss your hugs...(Pt.3)

They Eventually went to her apartment, Darius chose to sleep on the couch, mostly cause he wanted Kenji to finally get some actual good sleep.

Kenji walked around, smiling at the photos of him and Brooklynn. Her research on different places containing illegal dinosaurs, he just smiled that this was all closer to him.

Brooklynn: Soo..What do you guys wanna do?

Darius: Well there IS this new movie on Dino-

Kenji: NEXT.

Brooklynn: Yea..No offense Darius but last time we saw a Dinosaur movie you kept pointing out everything that wasn't "scientifically True"

Darius: Hey!! I mean...they should have it accurate!

Kenji: *rolls eyes* hey there's a new horror movie! We should watch that!

Brooklynn: alright!

Darius: *crosses arms* *pouts* I wouldn't talk that much...

(Movie)

Brooklynn: *yelps and starts laughing* THAT HAS NOTHING ON BIG EATIE! *laughing*

Kenji: *smiles* Nah..I think Toro was worse!

Darius: Do ANY of you remember the Scorpius Rex???

They all shuddered.

Kenji: that might win-

Brooklynn: yep-

*screen goes black*

Brooklynn: that's..weird

Kenji: Maybe it turned off? Lemme try..

He walked up to the screen and fiddled around with the dvd player

*Jumpscare in his face*

Kenji: WHOA- *falls over, gets up, and sits down again* 😳

Brooklynn: *laughing*

Kenji: *laughing*

Darius: *rolling on the floor laughing*

(Later in the night)

Kenji: *cuddling close to Brooklynn*

B: *hugging him* so..you wanna tell me how you've been sleeping yet?

Kenji: hmm....im fine..*nuzzles into her neck*

B: so, no nightmares? Nothing??

Kenji: nnoooo....

B: huh, alright, if you say so..
*looking at Darius*

Darius: *annoyed face*

B: *shrugs a bit*

Kenji: ughhh...can we sleep yet??..Darius turn your light offf...

Darius: okokokkk..good night guys *click*

B and Kenji: night!

(Later in the night again)

Brooklynn watched as Kenji tossed and turned, shaking, she knew him having no sleep issues whatsoever was a lie.

B: this is what has been going on?..

Darius: *sitting up on the couch* *sighs* pretty much..

Kenji kept mumbling, moving around, till he finally shot up, clutching his chest, slowly taking in breaths to relax.

Kenji: *quickened breathing slows down and he sees Darius and Brooklynn looking at him* *frowns and pulls his knees to his chest* you can..stop staring..

Darius: sorry..

Brooklynn: *sits like him and scoots closer to Kenji* *soft and quiet voice* you wanna talk about it?

Kenji: just old memories...my dad, mostly..*sadly chuckles* and death..so much death...*sharply inhales* I-I mean do you guys even..even- realize the amount of- death we've seen??..*shakily breathing*

Brooklynn: ...I guess we have..haven't we...but hey we're safe now!..and your dads-

Kenji: in jail..*voice break*where he belongs..

Brooklynn: ...yeah.. Y'know it's ok to miss him..

Kenji: I don't..I'm glad he is..I miss the old him..the one that actually cared about me..

Brooklynn: *hugs him* I'm sorry Kenj..I am..

Kenji: *sniffles and wipes at his eyes* *hugs her back* *hitched breath* *voice broken* please don't- don't let go of me..!

Brooklynn: Oh Kenj..*hearing him quietly sobbing* sh sh..shh..I'm not letting go ok?..you're alright..shhh..you're ok..

Kenji: I'm trying to stop I'll stop just..-ugh..! *sniffle* *nuzzles  into her hair* *slowly stops crying and shakily breathes* I-..I'll miss this..I'll miss your hugs..

Brooklynn: I'll miss this too...*nuzzles into his chest, kissing his chin* good night Kenji..

Kenji: Good night B...*drifts off* *laying his cheek onto her head and smiles*

Brooklynn: *smiles* *hugging around his neck*

Darius: why am I always the third wheel??

This was sad and cute all at the same time 😀
