Taehyung, his friends and all the other council members in the meantime, were searching non-stop for something. That something scared them, but they needed to succeed. They did some training as well, Tae was not the strongest wolf physically, but he was a quick learner. Months passed. At night, Tae would look up at the moon and wish he had his mate with him. They couldn't even mind link, the amulet blocked it and Jungkook has marked another. But he knew where Jungkook was and Jungkook knew he was safe. Both got snippets of info from their spies, short, hastily written love notes to be carried back by trusted hands. Prince Bogum, the vampire, was mostly the one to play postman. He did however draw the line when Tae wanted to send Jungkook a kiss, Bogum had no intention of kissing the Trueblood on his cheek, no matter how cute the Omega made his face. But he didn't mind taking the little notes, a small bunch of flowers and verbal messages. He understood the longing in their hearts.

Kim Jenni stayed in the room the whole time; no-one came to her. She was angry, frustrated. This is not what she was promised by the council. She was supposed to be loved and adored by her mate, the one she wanted, she was supposed to be worshipped as Luna, people begging for her attention. Living like royalty. But here she was, locked in a room, and not allowed to speak or leave. Every day the same maid came in, put food down for the whole day and left. She has heard her parents screaming down below to let them see her, to let them take her away, but the voice of the Trueblood would thunder through the pack house and her parents would leave. She heard the Trueblood screaming at the council members each time they came back without her brother, telling them the days are ticking by. Ticking by for what? She didn't know.

As Jungkook's 21st birthday arrived, there was still no sign of the Omega. However, Bogum did arrive with a happy birthday note filled with words of love and a handmade figure of a wolf, cut out of wood and decorated with small shiny stones, made by Tae. He also had to tell Jungkook to not break the bond yet. The rebels haven't found what they were looking for yet. Jungkook had to maintain this farce and give them more time.

After another year, Jenni's door was opened and the Trueblood walked in, staring at the woman lying on the bed. She jumped up, trying to run to him to hug him, but the look in his eyes stopped her. "You are allowed to speak only to me until I stop you." She felt something lift and she could speak, for the first time in so long. "Jungkook, why are you doing this to me, I am your mate, your Luna, what on earth were you thinking! I will not be treated like this, I am the Luna of this pack, you will honour me as such. So, stop your little tantrum now." She tried to look cute with her hands on her hips and a pout, scolding him as if he was a child. He looked at her, absolutely no emotion in his eyes or on his face. She tried to stare him down, but soon had to lower her gaze. He had absolutely no reaction. "Jungkook, listen, I know this was all very sudden and yeah yeah, you thought you would mate with that useless Omega, but you have to see, I am so much better. I am an Alpha, I am beautiful, wolves will adore me, treasure me. They would never do that for the worthless Omega. The council wants me, only me. You need me to run the pack. The support you will get from other packs, because of my charm and beauty, how can you not see, Jungkook? You can be the leader of the head council with me by your side. Everyone will bow down to us." Again, no reaction, absolutely nothing. She lifted her hand to touch his arm, but her wrist was caught in a vicelike grip. "You touch me, you die" She was pushed back with the force of her wrist being released. "Jungkook, I will not be treated like this! You are not a child, stop your tantrums now! I am your mate, your Luna, Taehyung is long gone. So, conclude the mating with me and introduce me as your Luna now. I have had enough of your games. I will not stand being disrespected like this. I am NOT a useless fucking Omega. I am an Alpha! And it is time you start recognising it!" Her anger and frustration were getting worse, because no matter what she said, there was no reaction from the Trueblood. "Please Jungkook, let us just make the best out of this situation. I have been in love with you for so long, I even rejected my true mate for you. Can't you see? All I want is you, to be your mate, your Luna, your one true love. I want to have your pups; I want to rule beside you. Why can't you see my love for you?"

Jungkook looked at this woman, this girl, this monster in front of him. "Kim Jenni, you will never be my mate, you will never be my Luna, I will not touch you even with a 10-foot pole. You rejected your mate, you tried everything in your power to ruin your brother. I wish you could see what I see, how the monster is lurking behind your eyes, how the arrogance radiates of you in waves. I came here to give you one chance to repent for what you have done. You have not. I hope you are ready to face the consequences of your actions, you, your parents and the pathetic werewolf council. And the clock is ticking, every second closer to judgement day. Tick...tock..." With just a thought, the gag was back, and Jennie could not speak anymore. She tried to grab Jungkook, but the Trueblood was way too fast for her. He left and locked the door, leaving a furious Jenni behind, with nothing but her thoughts and anger. All she did the entire time she was in that room was look at herself in the mirror, brushing her hair, playing with make up and dresses. Obsessive about yourself much?

Taehyung turned 21, and he was excited, now he can be marked by his true mate. But still they haven't found what they were looking for. It has now been 2 years since they have met, and the separation was incredibly painful for both. Bogum arrived with a beautiful sapphire necklace for Tae from Jungkook and promises that they will soon be together.

Suddenly with a flash, Prince Bogum was gone, leaving just swirling air in his wake. This startled everyone, all immediately getting ready for another fight. Eunwoo quickly calmed them. Bogum's father, the King of the vampires, summoned him, nothing to worry about.

Bogum returned later, telling everyone that his father heard through the grapevine that the wolf council has been searching high and low for the Omega Kim Taehyung, but said Omega was missing in action. Apparently, the council cannot control the Trueblood, and all their plans are going to shit. Other rumours seemed like they were true. The council got mixed up with someone, or something and they are on a very tight schedule. That is why they pushed for the marking, which spectacularly backfired. It had something to do with the strength of the Trueblood and the Crystral Snow Pack warriors, but others had no idea what.
