ℜoksu realized that Cale was angry, no, not that angry, but he did seem to be upset about something.
According to what he heard from Amelia, Count Henituse sent a letter asking for his sister's hand, it was probably due to the rumor flying from mouth-to-mouth throughout the capital.
A rumor that was stupider than the idea that Cale known as a troublemaker drunk who, at the age of 15, already drinks alcohol, was flirting with a Princess without receiving a slap.
Roksu knew that Cale was smart, after all, when he woke up on their property, he acted respectfully, it was obvious that they were powerful. Cale had no idea they were royalty, yet he treated them the same because of how they looked.
That wasn't something a troublemaker would do, much less one who had taken it for the first time the night before.
"I apologize on behalf of my father, Count Henituse, I don't know what was going through his head to believe such a rumor."
The black-haired man looked at Cale, who had been frowning since he appeared at his door this morning.
He knows that both he and Amelia have the same look, which they do accidentally from time to time.
"My apologies for these words, but the count is undoubtedly very stupid."
Amelia said as she cut the steak cooked by her private chef.
'More than cutting the steak, it seems like she is trying to get her anger out.'
Roksu had to sigh not to let a laugh escape, his angry sister was terrifying but also quite funny.
"I knew he was ignorant in some ways, but I never imagined it would go so far!"
"Amelia, calm down."
"I'm sorry, what bad manners I have, I apologize young master Cale."
The black-haired woman looked at Cale with sympathy, with pity.
'Cale probably doesn't like that look.'
"Young master, this is a misunderstanding created by gossiping nobles, you should not apologize! If anything, it should be Count Henituse for sending that marriage proposal."
"That's right, don't apologize." Roksu, for the first time at dinner, spoke.
It wasn't Cale's fault that the earl believed the rumors, before talking to his own son first. Rumors at events of this type were always faster, but their speed and credibility grew more if they were started by someone with power.
