Chapter 1 Inheritance

What , happens when you become the one who gives romantic advice to monsters? And keep their secrets? Yeah that's me. I inherited the position from some unknown relative who is wanting to retire! But instead of moving to some exquisite place I got the barn and a thousand acres in the middle of Louisiana! But what's even more cool...is my favorite anime characters and crushes are coming through the door in my barn!

Jessica , don't forget to pick up my medicine after work! " Okay Granny!" I , went in doing my eight hours at the nursing home.
I went to the pharmacy.. Jessica how is Mrs Ione? " Granny is doing pretty good! Her , arthritis gives her fits though!"

I left going by to pick up some groceries.  After that...
I pulled back in to see  a BMW car. " Maybe Granny has a rich friend !?"  I was putting  everything  away.  The smell of chicken and  dumplings in a pot , and a pan of homemade biscuits.

Jessica, you have company! " Huh?" I went to the living room " Hello!" Mrs Jessica  my name is Cronos ! I have your relatives  ,will for you !" I opened this letter  " I , inherited a thousand acres and a bank account?" Yes , and this letter is only to be read when you move in!

" Thank you  Cronos !"  The smile and weird look gave me Fairy Tale anime vibes. Maybe he is a cosplayer?? I opened the bank book " Holy smokes we are rich Granny!"

You are rich! Just give me some to play with every month! " Granny, I can't leave you  here all alone!"
I am fine besides I have Jose ,who does chores for me! " Fine but I will be checking in daily!"

I worry about you! You should try to  move on.. He's gone baby!  "Who is this mystery relative?" Somebody who knew your dad!

So the next day...
I quit my job and drove to the address. " Wow it's way out here! At least I have high speed internet!" I took the key and opened this barn door.  It , is rustic but is modeled into a nice home.

I , looked around  finding an odd doorway with a curtain. I ventured upstairs finding a few bedrooms and  bathrooms. Downstairs I have an office , nice kitchen  , and living room.

It's not a fancy mansion but it certainly is plenty big enough for me. I found the TV remote checking out the stations. Noticing  my anime channels aren't on their I signed in , and sat down enjoying the recliner.

Ring , ring ,ring .. Hello! " Granny this is nice!" What's it like? " A ,old barn converted into  a house!"
As we sat chatting for  a while a strange light  emanated behind the curtain and  moved as someone came through.

" Granny uh I.. Will call later okay!" I hung up the phone.
Hello I'm Kagome! Is Aphrodite here? " Um no she retired I just moved in! I kinda inherited everything!"

Oh, you must be the granddaughter she mentioned! " I'm sorry wow ! I , never thought I would meet you  in person! How did you  know her?" Well it's a fun story!

Inuyasha , and I were having problems after we ended up stuck in Toga's grave she helped us and opened up a relationship advice service with this portal door! " Cool , so let's see what's in the fridge  and , talk while  watching something on TV!"

Sounds like a deal! We , raided the kitchen and cooked some ramen with some tea. " So , what's been going on?" Inuyasha , wants to help bring Toga back! " I'll , do some research so check back  with  me often!"

I got my notebook and wrote all my notes down.  Then the curtain opened again... Hi I am Peter Grill!
" Hello Peter , would you  like a bowl of ramen with us?" Yes thank you! I , am famished !  Those , nympho women won't give me a break!

I giggled " You , have the most prized family jewels in your world! So they get quite the workout  huh?!" I got him a big bowl and  some tea. What is this we are watching? " That's a commercial!"

I flipped through the channels and put on a talk show . After  seeing  Peter's reaction on the .. you are the father... I couldn't help but laugh. " How about a comedy?"
Kagome , even giggled with a nod.
