"Oh, fuck off" Richie mumbles when he hears his alarm going off, he isn't a morning person at all normally he wakes up with Brooklyn jumping on his bed but nope today it's with an alarm which the sound is so much more annoying then her laughter.
He rolls out of bed and forces himself to get changed, he tries to put effort into his looks today but if he's being honest he doesn't really care cause all that's going on in his head is, you all are gonna die today, which no wonder that's going through his head they barely made it out of life when they were twelve nevermind forty with back problems.
He pulls out his phone and notices a text from Mike saying that he's already downstairs, so before he goes down he sends a quick text to Sandy asking her how her and Brooklyn are.
"Oh sorry" Richie says after bumping into Eddie, "I can't believe this is twice this has happened in less than twenty four hours".
"Yeah, well maybe if you paid attention then it wouldn't keep on happening" Eddie exclaimed.
"Yeah, well maybe if you did your job then you can assess the bump before it happened" Richie says back.
"Oh, fuck you" Eddie says already pissed off.
"You're just mad cause you know I'm right" Richie says smugly.
"You are never right, you are quite literally a comedian and by the way most of your jokes are about you doing stupid shit" Eddie says, Richie tries to hid his smile because this is now technically twice that eddies said that he's watched his shows.
"Okay, I don't write my own material" Richie says back to him.
"Yeah you have to have someone writing your jokes for you cause you aren't even funny" Eddie says in one breath.
"Right okay kaspbrak" Richie says while rolling his eyes, "let's go downstairs the others are probably already there".
"Right, now that we are all here we have to leave because the earlier we stop it the better" Mike says to the group.
"So are we just skipping breakfast?, I'll have you know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we don't even know what we are up against today so we need our strength" Eddie says.
"We will grap something quick, there's a place that's open early to serve out rolls" Mike says back to him.
"Okay so are we taking the school bus again" Richie assumed.
"Yes Richie, we are taking the van, well not all day just the begging" Mike replied.
"What do you mean only in the beginning?" Bev says back to Mike.
"I'll explain more later on" Mike says.
"Yep because you love to do that" Richie exclaimed, "and if I'm not wrong we didn't like what information you told us later on last night, so I'm just assuming the worst".
"Well you just have to wait and find out, come on follow me" Mike says while leaving the town house.
"So I'm guessing I have to sit in the middle to separate Richie and Eddie" bill says.
"You do realise that there's a seat next to me so nobody has to sit in the middle" Mike says back to him.
"Yeah, but someone's gotta take care of the children". Bill says while making his way over to the passenger side, "can you two be trusted to sit together without an adult next to you?"
"Yes dad, we will be on our best behaviour" Richie says while getting in first then Eddie following him.
"So where are we going?" Ben asks when the car starts moving.
