In honor of the 4th of July.
Puck decided to throw a party at his house.
Inviting all of the New Directions.
Set in his back yard, as they set off fireworks and drank.

6:50, after school.
everyone had finally made it there.
Most brought there own fireworks.
But some just borrowed other's.
But it wouldn't be a Puck party, without alcohol.

Most people were outside watching the lively fireworks explode into the night sky.
Loud music was going off,
And overall, everyone was having a great time.
Except for Kurt.

Kurt was sitting inside of the living room.
Blaine forced him to come out to the party with him,
But Kurt, he absolutely hated fireworks.
He was sitting on the couch,
Flipping through channels, trying to find something to take his mind off of the loud bombs.

Blaine had no idea that Kurt was terrified of fireworks.
He was outside drinking, and dancing to the bland pop music.

He at first, didn't notice that Kurt wasn't outside.
He thought he was taking to someone like Rachel.
Untill he noticed that she was dancing with Finn.

“Rachel, do you know where Kurt is?”
Blaine asked hopelessly.

“uh no? Shouldn't you know?”
Rachel told Blaine, while sipping on her drink.

Blaine slightly rolled his eyes.

“I think I saw him inside on the couch while I was refilling my drink.”
Finn blurted out, trying to help.

“Oh thanks, I'll try there.”
Blaine spoke, he started to walk over and into the house.

He opened the sliding glass door, and Finn was right.
Kurt was on the couch, holding his head with his hand, while the remote was in the other.

Blaine sat next to Kurt with a confused look on his face.
“Are you okay, why aren't you outside?”
Blaine asked, then grabbed his boyfriend's hand.

“Yeah, I'm just tired. And not in the mood to party.”
Kurt told Blaine, when Puck let off a huge, and loud firework.

Kurt flinched hard at the obnoxious boom.
Blaine noticed, and his heart shattered.

Kurt's breathing hitched.
Blaine started to massage his shoulders.
“Hey, you can trust me. What's wrong?”
Blaine questioned.

“Look, I just, I hate loud noises.
And stuff like that, especially fireworks.
That's why I didn't want to come originally.”
Kurt confessed to him.

Blaine felt heartbroken, he felt absolutely terrible for making Kurt come to this.

“Kurt... I'm so sorry for forcing you to come here.
If I knew about your fear sooner, I would have never.”
Blaine pleaded.

“Yeah, yeah I know, it's not your fault Blaine. Please don't blame yourself.”
Kurt told Blaine.

Blaine stayed in there with his arm around Kurt, comforting him until the party was over.

When it finally was Kurt was the designated driver, with how everybody else was drunk.
After dropping off Santana, Kurt drove him, Finn, and Blaine back home. With Blaine being able to sleep over.
