Chapter 1

Eden was an exceedingly beautiful place and the best place that could have been created in all of existence, the first place for the lives of mortal beings to emerge and evolve over the centuries to the present day. And even though everything was supposed to be perfect there, at the beginning things didn't go as planned.

Adam and Lilith, the first two human beings created, were supposed to be the first couple to help procreate the entire human race, all being observed by the angels in charge of making sure everything went well. But as many already know, not everything can go perfect on the first try, and that's how everything changed course.

Neither of them could stand each other, every moment they were together they wanted to kill each other, but they had to stay together by force, although all that took an unexpected turn when a Seraphim entered their world, earning Adam's hatred and Lilith's love. That's why there was no other option than to create a new woman to take the role Lilith decided to leave, becoming Adam's wife.

Eve, the second woman of humanity, she was born from one of the ribs of who was supposed to be her lifelong husband, at the moment of arriving in that world she marveled at all the beautiful things like the animals, the landscapes, everything was beautiful for her but every good side had its bad side. And in this case, it was Adam, who never changed his attitude and continued to act as if he were the boss of everything, that he could have control over her and unfortunately this was allowed by those who are supposed to represent the good of the world.

She had to endure all that, she didn't like to be belittled, she didn't like to be always reminded that she was the second choice, the spare, they treated her like something they could leave aside to create something better.

One night while Adam rested, she decided to explore what Eden was like, it was a beautiful place that she couldn't fully explore due to the surveillance her husband had on her, she saw the beautiful sky being illuminated by the stars and that pleasant moonlight. In that, she could hear someone talking, she went guided by the sound until she saw a being that also illuminated that dark place, what stood out was his attire and those six beautiful wings he had on his back.

Eve: Hello.

The angel turned to see her and greeted her to approach her, Eve could realize how beautiful he was in his angelic appearance that later became a more human one.

- My name is Lucifer, although my real name is Samael, but I prefer the first one.

Eve: H-hello, I'm...

Lucifer: Eve, nice to meet you.

Eve: Right, you're one of them, it makes sense that you know who I am.

Lucifer: What are you doing here?

Eve: I just came to explore this place, I hardly have time to do it.

Lucifer: What do you mean? Literally, this is your home.

Eve: It is, but...he doesn't let me appreciate it.

Lucifer: I see, he became more overprotective.

Eve: What do you mean?

Lucifer: You know Lilith, right?

Eve: I don't know her physically, but I do know her story, that I was created to replace her.

Lucifer: And I am with Lilith, you could say that I am the reason you were created.

Eve: Are you Lilith's husband?

Lucifer: What is that?

Eve: I don't know, but they told me that Adam is my husband, so I guess you're her husband.
