I can still feel him inside me. He was anything but gentle. My heart felt like it was going to explode when he said he was going to accompany me in the bath. All my makeup would be washed away, leaving me completely exposed. I didn't want him to see everything, but I didn't know how long I could keep hiding.
I took a relaxing bath and emerged, only to find the room empty. It was 11:57 at night-where could he have gone? I stepped out of the room and walked towards the garden to get some fresh air. Everyone wished me. Uncle and Auntie gifted me a diamond necklace, and Dada Ji gave me a gorgeous set of payal and. Vreeti handed me an exquisite Louis Vuitton bag, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Happy birthday Ika baby," she said hugging me tightly.
