Adhira's pov
So today is the last day of our school, from tomorrow we will see everyone after 1 month.
Summer break finally!
I was standing alone at the corridor and looking down at the ground.
The students were entering from the school gate and I was lazily looking here and there, scanning everyone.
I shivered suddenly when I felt a hand encircled around my waist.
I lifted my head up and saw him smiling at me.
I smiled at him too.
" Hi baby"
He kept his chin on my shoulder.
" Hi adiii" I said pushing him away.
His eyebrows frowned.
" We are standing at our school corridor baby"
" So what? Everyone knows you are my girl."
" But teachers don't"
He rolled his eyes. And this means I won the argument.
He was standing beside me and talking. I was staring at his pretty features.
" You know what? The first time I saw you, i was standing here only. At this place" he said with a smile on his lips.
" Really?' I asked our of surprise.
" Yes, but the difference is, that day ayush was standing at your place and you were a stranger to me and now, here you are standing as my girlfriend "
He said with pride in his eyes.
" You know i m so much proud of you Adhira"
" I m proud of you too adii"
Proud, here doesn't mean it is a great deal to be each other's girlfriend or boyfriend.
Here proud refers to our 10th board exam results.
Yes! The results were out few days back.
Flashback.
" Class, there will be no teacher coming to your class because 12th board exam results are out." Neha mam announced and left.
" This means, our result will come today only" prachi said.
I turned my gaze towards Adii. He was tensed.
" Adii, what happened? Are you oky?" I placed my hand over his.
" Y..yes"
He stumbled for the first time infront of me.
" Adii, look here"
I cupped his face with my hands and turned his face towards me.
Our eyes met and we stared each other for few minutes, when he wrapped his hands around me and placed his head on my shoulder.
I patted him lightly.
He wasn't saying anything just hugging me tightly. He didn't left me for good 10 minutes when I broke the hug I saw his face red.
Whenever he gets tensed or angry he gets warm and red.
" Adii" I said softly.
" Adhira, today results are coming, my family has expectations from me. What if...if.. i "
" Shhh" I placed finger on his lips.
" You did your best, results will be best" I said and cupped his cheek.
He nodded and held my hand tightly.
" Students, your 10th result is out"
Neha mam announced.
" All the best" I quickly pecked his cheek.
Now, the bell rang. We were asked to go home and come back to school after getting our results.
I rushed back home and opened my phone.
I searched for my admit card in my bookshelf, luckily I didn't threw it away.
After entering the roll no and all I prayed to shivji and hoped for best.
I quickly clicked the result button but before that,
Incoming call from Prachi.
" Hello"
" Bhaiii, m pass hogyi, I got 80%"
Prachi screamed from other side.
" Bhai, mujhe result dkhne de" I hung up the call.
I clicked the button and saw my result.
95 in English, 99 in science, 94 in sst, 92 in hindi, 90 in maths, 93 in Computers.
I calculated my %.
I screamed on top of my lungs.
"Ninetyyyyyy sevennnnnnnn%"
My mom, dad, sister came inside my room which were waiting for me outside as I said I want to see results alone.
I stared jumping on bed like a crazy.
My mother hugged me and so did kashvi.
I was literally soooo happy.
After that there were calls on calls of relatives, friends and from school too.
They called me since I secured 3rd rank in school.
After all the stuff I got back home and we had a great time at school with principal offering me mala, photo session along with other toppers.
I saw my friends result also all got 80 and above and I was very happy for them too.
Then I dialled my sweetheart.
" Hi babyyyyy, congratulationsssss" he screamed making me giggle.
" Thank youuu babyyyyy,, congratulations to youu toooo sweetheart" I too matched his energy.
He got 85%.
Flashback ends.
I smiled at him and then the bell rang.
After a long day at school, a hectic schedule, hustle bustle finally the bell rang and we all made our way towards our vehicles.
We were literally drenched in sweat and tanned.
I sat behind Sidhika and we drove away as fast as we could because this heat was getting unbearable time by time.
" I swear, I won't step out of my house whole summers. Look at the sun" I wiped off the sweat from my fourhead.
While Sidhika was driving scooty and tackling the school crowd.
After she dropped me home, I quickly changed and had lunch.
Today was my favourite pulao with cold dahi and mirchi ka achar.
Ohh God, how heaven this tastes.
After lunch i came to my room and sat on bed, then only that there were 16 missed calls on my phone with several messages.
But they were not from Adi.
