Queen Sunmi's fury knew no bounds after Jungkook's public decree to support Hyejin. She seethed with anger, feeling her influence slipping through her fingers. Determined to reclaim her position, she sought out allies among the nobles and courtiers who shared her disdain for Hyejin.

One evening, as Hyejin was preparing for another performance in the grand hall, she was approached by Lady Jisoo, a loyal follower of Queen Sunmi.

"Han Hyejin," Lady Jisoo greeted with a forced smile. "Her Majesty requests your presence in her chambers."

Hyejin's heart sank, sensing trouble. Despite her apprehension, she followed Lady Jisoo to Queen Sunmi's private quarters once more.

As she entered the opulent chambers, Hyejin found Queen Sunmi pacing back and forth, her eyes ablaze with fury.

"Han Hyejin," Sunmi spat, her voice sharp as a blade. "You have caused enough trouble in this palace."

Hyejin remained composed, despite the queen's hostility. "Your Majesty, I have done nothing to deserve your anger."

Sunmi's laugh was bitter. "Do not play innocent with me, dancer. You seek to steal my husband's affections, but you will fail."

Hyejin's voice was steady, though her heart raced with apprehension. "I have no desire to come between you and the king, Your Majesty. I only wish to perform my duties as a dancer."

Sunmi's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Your lies will not save you, Hyejin. I will see you banished from this palace, if not worse."

Hyejin held her head high, refusing to show fear. "I am here at the king's invitation. He values my talents and my presence."

Sunmi's face twisted with rage. "You will regret crossing me, Hyejin. Mark my words."

With that ominous threat, Queen Sunmi dismissed Hyejin, leaving her to navigate the treacherous waters of palace politics alone once more.

As Hyejin left Sunmi's chambers, her mind raced with worry. She knew that the queen's influence in the court could jeopardize her position and her relationship with Jungkook. But more than that, she feared for the safety of her heart. Sunmi's relentless hostility threatened to tear her apart from Jungkook, and Hyejin wasn't sure how much longer she could withstand the pressure.

Meanwhile, Jungkook paced restlessly in his own chambers, unable to shake the tension that hung in the air. He knew that Sunmi's wrath would only escalate from here, and he feared for Hyejin's safety. Determined to protect her, Jungkook made a silent vow to confront Queen Sunmi once and for all, no matter the consequences.

In the heart of Jeosoen, a storm brewed, threatening to unravel the fragile threads of love and loyalty that bound them all together. And as Jungkook and Hyejin faced their greatest challenge yet, they could only hope that their love would weather the storm and emerge stronger on the other side.
