The More The Merrier!

"How about the beach?"
Y/n suggested.

A collective gasp echoed across the table, punctuated by energetic nods. "The beach! Perfect!" Eve exclaimed, setting down her boba with a clink. "We can build sandcastles, swim in the waves, and maybe even try surfing!"

Sky's eyes sparkled at the thought. "Surfing lessons! That could be our big group activity for the summer."

James, a hint of apprehension in his voice, chimed in, "Is the beach far from here?"

Y/n, ever the planner, offered a reassuring smile. "Not too far. There's a great beach about an hour's drive away. We can all chip in for gas, or maybe we could go our separate ways if it's okay with you guys?"

Damian, who had been silently observing the group's enthusiasm, finally spoke up. "I can ask Alfred to drive us."

"Yep." Eve hummed. "We all have our means of transportation."

"Let's invite our families too! The more the merrier!" Sky optimistically suggested.

"Doesn't sound bad." Eve nodded.

"Cool! My mom loves beaches." James said.

"Okay." Damian agreed.

"Nice!" Y/n said. "I'll bring Estelle along."

The playful banter continued as they tossed around ideas for their beach trip. Sky suggested packing a picnic lunch, complete with homemade lemonade. Eve chimed in with sunscreen and beach towels being essential. James, his apprehension fading with each suggestion, proposed a volleyball game on the sand and Y/n proposed badminton.

As the conversation flowed, a sense of camaraderie filled the air. Even Damian, despite his stoic demeanor, seemed to relax a little, a hint of a smile playing on his lips occasionally. 

The cafe, filled with the sweet aroma of mochi and the chatter of excited friends, marked the beginning of a summer filled with fun.
