A/N: Just wanted to say that this chapter will be written through the same POV as the previous one.

Just then, Joanna came into the living room and informed the redhead that she had a couple of visitors, leading Astrid to stand up and make her way to the front door where she saw the last two people that she ever expected to see anywhere near Forks at that particular moment.
"Oh my god! Uncle Tony?! Aunt Pepper?!"
"Hey there, bug. Surprise!"
Astrid was shocked to say the least that her honorary uncle and aunt had shown up in her little town.
She quickly recovered from her shock though and exchanged hugs with both Tony and Pepper who eagerly reciprocated the gesture.
She also introduced Joanna to the duo since she knew that Charlie had shared the news about him and Joanna being together with Tony a short time after he had told her and about the relationship.
Charlie had wanted Astrid and Bella to be the first ones to know once he and Joanna had officially decided to become a couple.
Astrid had been extremely ecstatic when Charlie had first told her that he and Joanna were together officially but as Charlie had understandably expected, Bella had had the complete opposite reaction about the whole situation.
As for Tony and Pepper, both were also very happy that Charlie had found someone who made him happy in Joanna.
Tony still remembered all too well how badly his friend had been affected by his ex wife's desertion of him and the fact that she had taken a then very young Isabella with her.
He also remembered how happy Charlie had been when he had first taken a baby Astrid into his home a few years after that.
Tony had always thought that it was ridiculous that Renée got angry when she had heard that her ex husband had adopted Astrid and had accused him of replacing their actual daughter with the young redheaded child.
Back to the present though...
"So what brings you and aunt Pepper here to Forks, Uncle Tony? Not that I'm not glad to see you both of course."
The three adults couldn't help but laugh a bit at Astrid's assuring Tony and Pepper that she was glad that they had come to visit.
"Well, I actually got a call from your pops the other day. He mentioned that you were having a rough time after the incident with Isabella at your school. Since me and Pepper were in Seattle on business, we offered to come by and surprise you since it's been a while since we last did that. "
Astrid couldn't help but feel grateful that her uncle and aunt had gone out of their way to swing by her house to surprise her with a visit to try and cheer her up and she made sure to tell the two of them so, causing the couple to smile warmly at the teen.
"It's no problem at all, bug. Anything we can do to help you and Charlie out. In fact before I forget, what would you think about maybe coming to New York to visit for a few days during your Christmas break?As long as it's okay with your pops, of course."
Astrid couldn't help but smile at Tony's offer. She also hoped that her papa would be okay with the offer too but she figured that he would be since he knew how much she loved it whenever she got to spend time with her honorary uncle and aunt.
"I would love that so much, Uncle Tony! You should definitely talk with Papa about it."
Tony chuckled and assured his niece that he would definitely speak with her papa about the matter.
He and Pepper ended up staying and spending time with their niece for about another hour before they announced albeit reluctantly that they would need to be heading back to their hotel.
Astrid was sad that the two had to leave again so soon but she understood that they had to so she pushed aside her sadness, embracing each adult and also thanking them for having surprised her with their visit.
"Of course, honey. We were more than happy to stop in for a visit. We'll always be here for you anytime, okay?"
Astrid assured the older woman that she knew that she and Tony would always be there for her.
Once Tony and Pepper had left, Astrid let Joanna know that she was going to go upstairs to her room for a bit which the older woman told her that that was fine.
"I'm going to take care of a load of laundry before I start figuring out what to make for dinner tonight but I'll be here if you need anything, sweetie."
Astrid smiled at her father's girlfriend before she went to grab her phone, earbuds and book before heading upstairs to her room.
As she was climbing the stairs to her room, the redheaded teen was unaware of the figure standing right inside the tree line that faced her window, their golden eyes catching the minute sunlight that was peeking through the clouds at the moment.
