These blooming plants have an intoxicating smell that makes anyone nearby absolutely giddy. They can be used for medicinal purposes, but only in small doses. They are incredibly rare, but when a person or animal is in a large patch of these flowers they become unwilling to leave, even if staying would cause their own death. Some animals use these flower patches as ways to catch prey easier, an example would be a riechen fox.

'Riechen foxes' are usually orange, their slim bodies slink through patches of aufmuntern flowers, watching and waiting for prey, more like scavengers than true hunters. They have lost their sense of smell as to not be affected by the flowers they live near.
