Chapter- 3 (Conversation)

Aadvika's pov:

So, after my boss , the great , good looking, handsome "Avayan Gupta " dropped me I felt happy inside as my first day have gone well...

I get inside and freshen up and went to my brother's room..
"What's up bro?? Good evening" , I said
"Good evening di , just solving some maths problems!!" He replied
"Okay... If you need any help lemme know" I said
And I was about to leave and he asked,
"Dii, how's your first day in office??"
"Ummm...., I will tell you in dinner time when maa will also be present..." I said
"Okay " , he replied
And I left the room..

Then I went to kitchen and saw ma have already prepared everything...

I said , "Maa , why did you do all there alone?? I can help nahh....??"
"Are it's okay, it's almost dinner time go and seat and call your brother too .." she said

To be honest, I really don't wanted to do something today... Actually it was a hectic day also as I have done lots of work and it's also 9 to 5 job .. so.. I wanted to take some rest .. I know it's not good!!

I have seen the time it's 10:12 pm and we always do dinner around 10:30 . So I was just relaxing scrolling insta, while I hear my mom saying me...

"Adi .... Adiii"
"Yes maaa..." I replied
"Kya tu mujhe nhi batyegi kya hua aj office mein?? Pehela din kaisa raha?" She asked
( Will you not say what happened in your first day in office and how was it??)

"Yess ma... I will say... , Bhai also asked so I thought of saying both of you together in the dinner time ..." I said lazily

Now, it's 10:32 and ma asked me to call Bhai and I did,
We all were in the dinning table now and ofc my brother started..,

"Dii... Ab toh bol kya hua aj office mein??"
( Di, now say atleast what happened in office today?)
" Ha ha... Bol ab" Maa continued
Then I started,,
"Okay, soo.... I meet the new CEO... .....". and I continued
and described everything...

My brother felt shocked by listening Avayan sir dropped me ,
"Dii... He's such a gentleman, toh kya Sadi pakki??" He said sarcastically

I felt very angry by listening his word and I replied angrily...
" What do you mean??? Are you out of your mind Annuuuuuuu???? Eat or get lost now.....!!!"

Actually, I'm very short tempered and I become very angry listening about my marriage.. my mother also don't dares to say about this topic now... Why not?? Such a dramatic past I have!!

Maa said, " okay okay,... Calm down, it's okay.. and Annu.. don't dare say like this from next time .. is it clear??"

"Yes maa" he replied

And after that no one said anything and I said "Good night" to all and everyone goes to their respective rooms!!

I set alarm for tomorrow as I can't be late... So I placed the alarm beside my bed and slept peacefully with overthinking after so many years I think...!!
Still I can't resist myself to think about him>>

Next day:

Alarm rang ..I know it's 7 am still I hurriedly wake up but I don't like to wake up early in morning... I know.. everyone will say 7 am is not early but for me its dawn!!!!!!

So after completing my bath and dress up I checked the time and it's 8:03 now , so I went down and have my breakfast peacefully and booked a cab and went to my office 16 mins early!!!!! And I thought I have done a great job!
