His eyes close to enjoy the morning sun. Lying on the dewy green grass, sparkling and displaying the hues of the rainbow in it is clear bubbles. The rhythm of the universe accompanied his senses, providing him with the relaxation of sunbathing and nourishing his bones with vitamin D. A sweet humming could be faintly heard not far from him. Rangka Darma simply smiled.

The siren appeared unexpectedly, playing a tune. A calming noise lulled the man in the white shirt into sleep, using his right hand as a pillow. Regular breathing. However, he was startled by something dropping from the tree. His eyes opened to look in the direction of the sound. It turned out to be an apple, and it had about run out when it fell rolling. About 8 meters from where he was.

The siren's voice did not startle him, nor did the apple that had eaten by whoever it belonged to fell tumbling down from the top of the tree. However, when a foot dangled from the tree, he swiftly sat down. His irises tracked the movements of those legs, she was undoubtedly the one who ate the apple. Without waiting long, the two feet walked on the smooth grass, wearing brown shoes.

The woman took Rangka by surprise. Her hands slashed her skirt and pants. Her feet stepped forward to pick up the soiled apple and place it in the sling bag. Her head was pointed straight ahead. Two sets of eyes clashed, and the woman widened her eyes in surprise before fleeing as if she had been caught stealing.

"Hey!" Rangka shouted as swiftly as he could to approach the woman.

He tilted his head in laughter. "Haha, what a funny expression. She didn't know I was here since this morning, and I also didn't know she climbed the tree, it seems like she went first."

The joy has not faded from the brilliant lips pink roses. He lay back down and gazed at the blue sky with it is white clouds. Birds chirping in the sky joined the sharp-nosed man, replacing the siren's song.

Ten minutes later, ten minutes past eight, Rangka was stunned again by a pat on the arm that served as a head cushion. Their eyes met, and they were greeted with a charming dog-like smile. The woman returned. Rangka adjusted his seating position to face the woman, who was looking up with an apple on her head and a small folded paper. His hand motioned for it to be favorably welcomed.

"Thanks, what's your name?" Rangka took the apple and paper. Rangka stared at her again when the other person didn't respond. Rangka merely grinned and opened the folded paper.

"The apples are sweet; you will enjoy them. I picked them myself on Aunt Vivian's garden. I apologize for disturbing you earlier. My name is Gisa Wijaya, and we communicate in writing. Do you speak sign language?"

Rangka read it with a smile. If Gisa was deaf, who was humming that lovely lilt? He took a bite of the apple, chewed, tasted, and relished the juice, attempting to determine whether it was truly as sweet as Gisa claimed.

"You're right, Gisa, the apple is very sweet, and I like it. Thank you," Rangka stated slowly enough for Gisa to grasp what he was saying.

Gisa grinned as she received the answer and shared the same opinion. Her left hand wrote in her notebook and handed it to Rangka. "You are welcome. I have not seen you around here before. Are you new here?"

Rangka nodded and borrowed a pen to scribble a few phrases in Gisa's book.

"I only arrived five days ago; the plan is for me to stay here for a long time to recover."

Gisa read it with a frown. Recovery. A word that made her feel slightly sad. "What is wrong with you? Recovery indicates you've recovered, but you're not in the best of health, right?"

"Yes, Gisa."

Rangka wrote his sentence again, and this time it was his chance to question Gisa. "Do you live nearby?"
