Farewell

I regret
for not being there
by your side the time that
you needed me,

for not giving you
attention the way you
wanted it,

for not showing
enough love that could
fulfill you.

It's ironic
to go where you want
because you're not able
to wander anymore,

to cry your feelings out
as you're mesmerizing to the past
and you lose track of the present,

to say you're sorry
because it's too late.

There will always be an end to
Sadness,
Sorrow,
and Regrets.

You will always be,
forever in our hearts...

Always keep this in mind,
a simple reminder:
Do anything we want as we please;
Don't let our desires be our regrets when we die.

(FYI)
• I based this poem from "The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint - Exupēry" as I am inspired to write just like he did. TBH, my inspiration to write "Farewell" is my grandmother who passed away.
