After Going Home (Pt 2)

Darius woke up to knocking on his door, he checked the clock, 1:30 A.M.. who's at his door right now??

He got up and checked through the peephole, he saw someone in a white hoodie and shorts standing outside. He opened the door and got instantly hugged by..Kenji??

D: Kenji-?

Kenji: I'm sorry-..I-i got scared ok??..I just wanted to see you or Brooklynn..

D: ...*hugs him back* I'm honestly glad you're here..I can't think and I hate being with none of you guys..

Kenji: *shakily exhales and hugs a bit tighter* can I..spend the night here..? I don't wanna be in there in my own..

Darius: Honestly I was about to ask, I can't sleep..

Kenji: same..nightmares n all..

Darius: *sits on the hospital bed with Kenji* don't you usually go to Brooklynn when those happen?...

Kenji: Yeah..I just couldn't-..I was stumbling around I wasn't paying attention..I just needed to go ..somewhere..

Darius: she's across the hall *chuckles*

Kenji: dangit-.. *yawns* ..I'm so tired D...of everything...*slowly lays his head on his shoulder*

Darius: Ik..just go to sleep alright?..I'll wake you up if anything happens!

Kenji: thanks...*fully lays down on half the hospital bed* *asleep*

Darius smiled at his older brother and had the sudden realization he was fully the youngest in the house. He shook the frown off his face and smiled knowing he had his brother with him, even if he was asleep-

Darius laid down too, thinking about the rest, he knew Kenji wasn't alright, but atleast he was with him right now, so he could look after him, but he worried about the others..

Eventually, his thoughts lead him into sleep.

In the morning he looked in his side and saw Kenji gone. He got up and looked around, seeing a napkin with shakey writing

"I had another nightmare so I went with Brooklynn"

Darius sighed and frowned hoping he was alright..

(Last night)

Kenji was sleeping fine, knowing he was with someone atleast, not alone, but his mind decided to terrify him once more, he shot awake after images of different horrors flashed in his mind.

He held his chest trying to breathe, his eyes wide, he saw Darius asleep, and quickly jotted a not on a napkin before leaving.

He walked across the hall and walked into Brooklynns room. She was asleep.  He shut the door and crawled into bed with his girlfriend, accidentally waking her up.

Brooklynn: *jumps a bit* WHOA- ..Kenji? When did you-

Kenji: *clings onto her, his arms and legs wrapping around her much shorter self* nightmare..

(In CC he's so tall and then Chaos Theory Ben just..dayum)

Brooklynn: Well..I'm glad you're here!..I missed you..
