'Go to our room.' Apollo starts. 'It'll be easier for you if you don't have to watch.'
I stay there a little longer, holding onto her before I slide off the bed, out from underneath her cold, limp body.
'Wait there.' I say to him as I walk to the bathroom and then back into the bedroom with a wet towel.
I use the towel to wipe the blood from her face so she looks like herself again. I remove the red streaks on her cheeks and the pool of blood that lays on her neck before I let Apollo take over. I don't say anything to him as I leave the room, knowing what will come next.
I hear movements from Hayley's room before the sounds move to the hallway and then down the stairs. I watch from the window as Apollo emerges from the house with Hayley wrapped in a bed sheet, her blonde curls spilling out from the top of the cover. A whimper slips from my lips as he opens the car door to the back seat, sliding her lifeless body along the grey fabric chairs. He then jumps into the front of the car, switching the engine on as he moves the car down the drive way and out of sight.
'Finally... I thought he'd never leave.' A voice booms from a dark corner of the room.
I spin to face where the sinister sound came from, terrified of the voice I don't recognise. My hand jumps to my heart, holding it, in an attempt to stop it beating right out of my chest.
'Who's there?' I ask shakily.
'Now pet, no need to be scared.' A dark, heavy set man says as he steps out of the shadows holding a crossbow, aimed at my chest.
'Oh my, god.' I whimper.
'God? Hmm, I like that.' He smirks.
'Please.' I beg, placing my hand over my stomach, instinctively trying to protect my babies.
'I'm not going to hurt you. I just need you to come with me.'
'I'm not going anywhere with you.' I tell him as my mind races over what I can do to protect myself. What I need to do.
I quickly scan the room for something I can use against him when my sight catches a mirror. I look at myself as I realise my best chance of survival is to let my wolf take over. As I start to let myself lose control, trying to bring my wolf to the surface the unknown man speaks again.
'Oh no you don't.' He booms at me as he raises a gun from his side and pulls the trigger.
Panic runs through me and my hands run over my body, looking for a gunshot wound or blood. But it wasn't a normal gun he'd shot me with. My fingers reach to a small dart handing out of my thigh. Its sore to the touch, but I pull it out, examining it as I feel myself growing faint. The dart slides from my hand, falling to the floor as my body does the same.
'Please...' I beg as I feel my body unwilling to move under my command.
'Just go to sleep dog.'
'Please.' I repeat as tears run down my face, as he stride over to where I lay on the floor.
'Sleep.' He shouts as he raises his weapon in his hand, bringing it down hard on my head, sending everything into a dark oblivion.

As I stir I bring my hand up to my head where I'd been hit. The spot feels sore as my fingers press against it, but all I feel is dry blood matted in my hair, knowing that my accelerated healing would already have healed the wound. My eyes blink open slowly as they adjust to the dark room. The only source of light is the moonlight drifting in from the solitaire window in the room.
'Looks like I get two alphas for the price of one.'
'What?' I say, confused from my hazy fog.
I look around the room, finding the same man from my room, sitting in a chair. I try to move my body, but it's still not cooperating with me fully as I fall forward against a metal bar. I look up from the floor to a large cage, separating me from my abductor. I'm thankful for the knot I tied in Apollos bathrobe as it holds, stopping my body being exposed to a stranger.
'I was just here for the male Alpha, Apollo is it? But imagine my surprise when I was surveying your house to see the two of you shifting in and out at will and not even under a full moon. And better yet I've got to you before you managed to plague the world with more of your filthy kind.' He spits.
'I'm not an Alpha, you've got it all wrong.'
'Darling, I've been a hunter for many years now. I know one when I see one. I've killed enough of them.'
'So you're just gunna kill me? Why bring me here?' I cry, feeling more of my body responding to my will to move.
'Eventually. But not until the other wolf has come looking for you. I figure he'll be real desperate to get you back, since you're carrying his pups. That and you're a pretty little thing.' He tells me stepping closer to the gate. 'I'd be tempted to keep you around if you weren't a dirty, flea ridden dog.'
'He won't fall for your trap' I say with venom, as I cling to the soft fabric covering my body while I try to make it cover even more of me so he can't look.
'Sure he will. He'll know he's walking into a trap, but he won't care if he thinks he can save you. You dogs aren't too clever. You usually only think with what's between your legs.'
'You can't hurt him.'
'Oh baby girl. I'm going to do more then that and there's nothing you can do to stop me, being stuck in this cage and all.' He says as he taps on the bars. 'Maybe I'll even make you watch as I put an end to his sad little life. Just like I did to his daddy. Now get dressed.' He tells me, throwing some of my clothes at me through the bars before he leave the room.
