▋⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ 𝖅𝔢𝔯𝔬: The pain in my vein is hereditary.

The last thing Ella could remember before waking up in a cold room was the sound of cool metal hitting her head, rendering her unconscious. Blueish grey eyes opened as soon they closed, unable to adjust to the blinding lighting arrangements placed in what could be vaguely described as a huge living room. Only if such things had no windows, no doors.

No way out.

"Hello?" Her hollow voice echoed throughout the room as she heard a bang nearby, and turned to find the source. Tufts of blonde curls were visible and that was enough for her to know exactly who it was. "Caroline?" And, she was right. The baby vampire turned to see her friend, her confused frown melting away into a confused smile. "Ella!" The blonde rushed to hug her friend, suddenly enveloping her in an embrace which almost caused the brunette to fall due to the inherited strength that came with being a human-shaped bed bug.

(She inwardly chuckled remembering how her sister's boyfriend, well ex had been offended by that accurate observation.)

"I thought you were, never mind. How are you here?" Forbes had immediately asked her as she pulled from the hug causing Ella's brain to go blank for a second. Really, how did she end up in a room of luxury with no fucking ventilation or a way to leave? Unless...

"Are you really my friend or are you just tricking me to shit information?" She narrowed her eyes at the woman causing the eternal teenager to frown. "What the fuck? I did not lie to my mom about you and Ca-" Yep, that was her friend for true. "I am so glad you are here." She interrupted, half glad and half mortified to remember that event.

"What am I then? Dead meat?" Ella felt her nose scrunch up in distaste as she turned to find out the most annoying troll of the deepest pits of hell standing as if he owned the place, even though his eyes flickered around the room as if to sense danger. "Hello, ladies." He grinned even when the two knew he did not mean it. "Damon." Ella gritted her teeth as saw Caroline stiffen for a moment before regaining her breath. "What the fuck did you do?" She glared at him, she knew he messed the whole thing up.

"What the fuck did I do?" Damon spluttered as he shook his head in judgment and amusement. Ella had an inkling he probably jerked off from tormenting people. "Young miss Gilbert tell me whose idea it was to save her bestie?" Damon said the last part in a high-pitched voice as if to mock her. But the truth was, she had no choice. Even if her sister had signed a deal with the devil's mother, she knew no good could come out of it even if the devil himself was exterminated.
