"Y/n you should not let anyone know that you are on your monthly cycle. It makes you look cheap whenever you show it. Do not even make your father, brother, or any family relations let alone in future even for your husband you should not let them know. If you want pads then come and ask me, that's all i can do for you. Now go to college" her mother says.

I nod my head feeling very insecure. I grab my backpack and head. I walk towards the metro to catch my train.

I scan my pass and walk past through the entrance. I wait for my train to come. As i am waiting i sense a presence beside me. Very close to me.

I look to see a boy standing beside me. He looks down at me and smiles. I look away.

The train arrives and i get on it. I spot an empty seat and i take my seat there. I pull out my phone and decide to scroll through it until i feel eyes on me. I ignore it.

When i heard my station coming I got up from my seat. The train came to a halt and I walked out.

"hey hey" i hear someone call. I ignore it and keep walking my way towards college.

I can feel footsteps which make me scared. I once again ignore them and keep walking. Finally the college comes into view. I breathe out and walk to the gate.

I show my ID card and walk inside. As i am walking, i bump into someone. Oh
sh!t.

I get up and pick up my backpack. I saw a few books on the ground. Without looking at the person i grab their books and stand up to give it to them when i froze.

It was Mr Mariano.

I gulp.

"I am very sorry sir. I was not looking" i say while looking down.

"It's ok y/n. Happy to see you today" he says, which makes me frown.

"Meet me at short break" he says and pats my head. I nod and walk away to my first class which is english.

Thank god it is english. I walk inside and take a seat near the window.

Soon after the assembly the english class starts. The teacher comes in and starts with the new lesson.

The first three periods were done. I was happy. Only two more periods.

The bell rang signalling us that it was a short break which lasted up to 20 minutes.

I grab all my books and stuff them in my bag. I walk my way towards Professor Mariano's office, aka staffroom.

I knocked but no response, I waited. I spot him coming towards me. He looks at me and i nervously smile at him.

"Sorry for making you wait dear. Come in" he says and opens the door. We both walk inside.

I sit down as my cramps are horrible. I scrunch up my face in pain.

"Are you ok y/n?" He asks.

"Y-yes sir" i whisper and give a smile.

"You don't look ok" he says.

"Sir it's a little personal" i state.

"Oh. I get you" he says and nods.

I smile awkwardly.

"So yesterday" he started. I nodded my head asking him to continue.

"Your father has asked me to take extra classes even for Sunday. I accepted it. And i want you to come to my home. I will give you my address. Come by sharp 10 in the morning ok" he says.

"Ok sir. Thank you" i meekly say.

"Anyways after this what class do you have?" He asks.

"Uhm PE sir" i say.

"Are you going? Or else we could continue with our study session" he says.

"I don't think i would go sir" i say.

"Ok then take out your physics book. Let us continue" he says.

I bit my lips and quickly took out the books. Sir starts to explain the sum to me. I listen carefully but my cramps are not helping.

He asks to re do the sums. I go through them once again and then close the book. I remember the sum and its summary.

I start to write it. I take 10 minutes and then i am done.

I hand it over to sir and he checks it. He smirks at me and corrects it. "Good girl" he says. I blush. Did he really say good girl.

"Let's keep this aside now. I see that you are uncomfortable. What do you want to do. We'll study the rest for tomorrow" he says.

I grin at him. Oh thank God. He is such a
caring and kind person.

"Well y/n. Do you have any friends?" He asks.

"Uhm no sir" i say.

"Why?" He asks.

"I am an introvert and i guess no one wants to be my friend" i state.

"So you like being alone" he says to which i nod my head.

I honestly like being alone. It gives me peace.

"So what are you gonna be. I mean what is your dream?" He asks.

"Well. I actually. I- sir i wanna be an author" i say.

"Hmm then why did you take the science stream. You like to write science fiction?" He ask.

"Oh well. My parents were the ones who pushed me into this" i say.

"Hmm i see" he hums.

The rest of the period, he asks me unnecessary questions.

The last bell rang and we were to go home. I'll say the house is not home, because it was never home.

As i am walking, i feel someone approaching me. That makes me walk even faster.

"Hey girl" someone says. I feel like my ears are ringing.

I walk my way towards the metro. I walk up and wait for my train.

"Hey you" i feel someone pat my shoulder. I sigh and turn to see a boy the one which i saw in the morning.

"What?" I asks. "Nothing. I kept calling you but you wouldn't turn around" he says. "Me?" I ask. "Yes you" he says.

I see my train approaching. Without wasting any time I get inside the train and stand quietly.

Why the heck was he following me? it's so creepy.

I reach my destination and part way from him. I reach my house and walk in.

"Did your professor give you his address?" I heard my father ask.

Seriously the first thing they ask is that wow.

"He gave me" i answer.

"Be ready then tomorrow" he says and walks away.

I don't even wanna have lunch now.
