10: water fight

Jungkook sighed for the nth time today. It has been two days since he and you know who was suspended from school. And being in this so-called home alone all day was boring as fuck.

He thought video games and Netflix could keep him occupied but nothing seemed to entertain him.

There was also this weird feeling in his chest and the punch he landed on his so-called mate kept on flashing in front of his eyes.

He groaned, not again. He needs to stop his stupid heart from feeling guilty when he was hit first. Oh yeah, that thought hurt his chest as well.

This stupid mate bond has fucked his mind up for real.

"Whatever." He whispered and then got up from the couch and went outside.

He took a walk around the neighborhood and somehow ended up infront of the lake. He walked towards it and stood behind the tree, leaning on it.

He sighed. This was nice and calm. The weather today was just perfect as well.

He sat down on the grass and stared ahead. He watched a little boy giggle and play with his mother at the other side of the lake. A small, sad smile made its way to his lips. He doesn't remember the last time he played with his parents or spent some time with them.

Ever since young, somehow work always came first for his parents. It was always more important, way important than their own son and his happiness.

He let out a sigh and then diverted his gaze. He shook his head. No point thinking about all this, Jungkook. You don't care about them anymore as well.

He closed his eyes and just sat there for a few minutes, almost falling asleep. But the calmness was soon broken by a loud noise that made Jungkook flinch hard. He got up in a haste almost tripping and looked back.

There was Taehyung rubbing his nose.

"What the fuck was that??"

Taehyung looked his way, his eyes widened just a little in shock, not expecting to see the other here. "What was what?" He asked, looking at the other's bewildered expression. "Why are you even here?"

"Why am I- that's not important! Didn't you hear that sound?"

"What sound?"

"Someone just screamed! Do you not have ears?!" Jungkook hissed.

"Screamed-" Taehyung frowned but then made a sound of realisation, "no one screamed you dumbfuck. I sneezed."

Taehyung rolled his eyes at the dumbfounded expression of the other.

"Why do you sneeze like a damn whale!"

Taehyung gasped, offended, "Excuse you!? Now you even have problem with my sneeze?"

"Yes! Sneeze like a normal fucking human!"

"This is normal."

"No it's not."

"It is."

"No."

"Yes."

"Delusional."

Taehyung glared at him, "you--" but then his gaze landed somewhere near the other's foot and he let out a gasp and put a hand over his mouth and looked up at the other.

Jungkook frowned staring at the other's sly expression and then looked down and- holy shit.

Jungkook cringed and quickly stepped away, "what the fuck is this shit!"

Taehyung burst out laughing. The face the other is making is hilarious. "It's shit. Literally."

Jungkook stared at his foot, utterly disgusted and looked up at the other with a glare, "this is all your fault!"
