Part 4 : A blind date or ruin date?

So-yong's pov:-

(So-yong is waiting for her blind date in the restaurant)

He is already one hour late. I got this day off after a very long time, and it is wasted on this stupid date. I called him four times already. But the network is so poor that it isn't connecting. Boring date! I feel so angry... I don't even know his name. Forget it...

(She stands up and starts to walk away, trying to call him one more time.)

So-yong: This network is...

(Suddenly, she bumps into someone, and he spills his coffee on her.)

So-yong: Ouch...

Mr. Lee: Watch where you are going. Don't you have eyes?

So-yong: (Looking at him,it's ji-yeon's father) Yes, I have two eyes and I can see clearly. Look at what you did.

Mr. Lee: You can't walk with your eyes open? It's not my fault.

So-yong: What did you say? First, you spill coffee on my dress, and now you are yelling at me.

Mr. Lee: Yes, I yelled at you, weirdo aunt.

So-yong: (Getting angry) If I am a weirdo aunt, then you are a weirdo uncle.

Mr. Lee: That day I went to the riverside and met you. Today I came into a restaurant and met you again. Are you secretly following me?

So-yong: Huh, who would follow a weirdo like you?

Mr. Lee: Most girls do that.

So-yong: They need eye treatment.

Mr. Lee: You...

(The restaurant manager comes over.)

Manager: Sir and ma'am, do you have a reservation here?

Mr. Lee: I don't have a reservation with this weirdo woman.

So-yong: Ahh, what did you say?

Manager: I am sorry, sir, but you and your wife are disturbing our other customers.

So-yong: I am not his wife.

Mr. Lee: Neither am I your husband (rolls eyes). I have a reservation here with someone else.

Manager: Can I check your table number, sir?

Mr. Lee: Sure.

Manager: And you, ma'am? (She had gone already.)

Scene: Outside

I just hate this dating thing. Shall I call that man and scold him for not coming? No need to do that. Well, one thing is good that I didn't need to meet him after all. But this coffee on my dress... agh... I feel angry. I am going back.

***It's 10pm. So-yeon, Aera and Sun-hee are in a local restaurant :-

Aera: So-yong, why did the director call you yesterday?

So-yong: For a blind date.

Aera: Hehh... a blind date! Don't you think he is too old to be your blind date?

Sun-hee: (Giggling) Aera, do you even know who the hospital director is?

Aera: No.

Sun-hee: He is So-yong's grandfather.

Aera: Oh, sorry! My bad. But what happened, So-yong? You are looking so down. How was your date?

So-yong: It was not a date. It was a technique to ruin my day off.
