Some time later, Jay came back from the field and joined the gang and I in our dorm.
"Yo-ho-ho!" Jay said, walking in.
"Hey man." Carlos greeted.
"Bro's looking good." I complimented.
"

Thanks sis." Jay said.
"No problem- uh..Uh... guys." I said, trying to grab their attention and they all thankfully turned to me. I was unfortunately nervous.
"I think it's time. You know, for the talk."
Evie sat down next to me, Jay leaned on the end of my bed, facing me, Mal sat on her bed but close to me and Carlos stood on the other end of my bed.
"Whenever you're ready." Carlos told me with a reassuring smile.

"Okay. Ya'll know I was with Aiden... he told me that my dad, king Edward is still king, he visits auradon during special occasions on hope of seeing me. He knows that I'm alive but he doesn't know I'm here and... I don't think he knows that my grandmother took me from him." I began with a blank expression on my face and Evie put her hand on mine which helped me to continue, "It's weird how he hasn't lost any hope in me. That he thinks I'm still alive which I am ha... you know, he could have remarried and had another princess or prince but he still wants me. I thought I never had a parent... but I do. Just that..." I stopped there trying to look for my words.

"Just... you don't know how to feel about it?"Carlos asked and I looked at him.
"Yeah, that. Narissa may have been my grandmother but she's dead to me. Already literally and emotionally. I mean how could she take me away from my father. Could I even still be the princess of Andalasia or have the people forgotten about me..." I looked down at my hands and I then realised something that made me shed a few tears.
"I'm sorry guys. I really sorry." I said to them.
"What are you sorry for?" Jay asked.
"If it weren't for narissa, I wouldn't have met you guys... I I wouldn't have had you as my family, as my friends as the actual people I can rely on. Honestly, I wouldn't have survived a day on the Isle if you guys weren't with me." I said and it made Evie tear filled. They all looked concerned.
"You don't have to be sorry Y/n... you're just trying to figure it all out. Maybe it was for the best that you had us around, I mean besides Evie you are a true princess. You're a badass, brave, smart and very beautiful. Better than any pink bitchy princess that walks the halls of Auradon prep." Mal said and it made the rest of us smile.
"We're with you all the way. Crown or no crown. Whatever decision you make. We'll support you." Jay said with a thoughtful but also serious face on.
"If you ever have things hard, we'll always be there for you. No matter what. We're family, probably the only family you'll need." Carlos said.

"Thanks guys. Who knew that talking about it could be helpful. At least I now know that I have a parent. So this whole talk about parents won't bother me, I guess. This will never leave the room and it should only be between us." I told them and they gave me a group hug.
"Don't worry. Nothings living this room." Evie said.

"Okay! Now that we got that taken cared of, let's change the subject. I'm really starting to get uncomfortable." I said then chuckled, making everyone chuckle too.

"Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand?" Jay asked Mal.
"Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out?... Y/n did you find anything in my book before" Mal asked while rapidly going through her spell book.
"No... I never thought of a backup." I told her and she groaned.
"Oh, someone's in a bad mood." Carlos said and I gave him a 'you shouldn't have said that look.'
"My mum's counting on me! I can't let her down!" Mal exclaimed and it made us silent and out of words until Jay spoke up.
"We can do this.... if we stick together." He said.
"And we won't go back until we do, because we're rotten-" Mal began.
"To the core." The four of us said.

"Oh yeah, I found out that fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at the coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear of course. What?" Evie said and it made us all look at her.
"E..." I said to her then there was a knock on the door.
"Hold that thought." Mal said, going to answer the door to reveal Ben.
"Hey Mal, I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything... that... you need." Ben said while stuttering at the end. Oh hell, Bennyboo has a thing for Mal.
"Not that I know of." Mal said turning to us to see if we had questions and we shook out heads and she looked back at Ben.
"Okay, alright. Well, uh, if you need anything, just, uh."Ben started but was interrupted by Mal.
"Oh, wait! Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" Mal asked him.
"Yeah, the whole school goes." Ben said.
"Wow, this is beyond exciting. Do you think that it's possible that the five of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy godmother, just so we could soak up all the goodness?" Mal asked. We see where shes going.
