Chapter 4: She's Just A Friend

Kie's pov:

All of us were quiet on the way back to Sarah's condo. Not one of us really knew what to say after everything that had happened in the past 48 hours.

When we finally made it to the condo Sarah immediately put the heat on because the temperature had dropped 20 degrees since we landed and it was now snowing. Sarah showed me and JJ to our bedroom, where we were going to be staying in for most likely a long time.

When me and JJ walked into the room I observed every little detail in the room. The walls were a light blue with one wall where the bed was, was brick. The bed was a king sized and had white and blue sheets and pillows on it. There was a dresser with a tv on it across from the bed.

JJ kicked off his shoes and immediately jumped into a bed like a little kid at a hotel room. I laughed and then did the same thing, joining him in the warm cozy bed. We laughed together for a bit until we got distracted by looking into each other's eyes. We maintenant eye contact for a few seconds before we both started to lean in.

" Hey guys I found some..." Sarah stopped mid sentence as she opened the door and saw us almost kiss. Me and JJ quickly bounced to opposite sides of the bed. " I knew it! I knew you guys had something going on between each other!" She giggled.

" it's, it's not what it looks like." I said while JJ sits dumbfounded not knowing what to say because he doesn't want our secret relationship to be known to the rest of the pouges while we are still trying to figure it out ourselves.

" Sure" Sarah said laughing to herself obviously not believing me. " Anyways I found a few of my tee shirts and a few cloth shorts in one of the dressers. My dad must have brought some here while he furnished the place." She said as she handed me a baggy teeshirt and some black booty shorts. "And for you JJ, I found one of John B's tee shirts in the dresser if you want it." She said now handing JJ a tee shirt.

" Thanks," me and JJ both said at the same time.

All of a sudden Sarah's evil smile came back, and I had a pretty good idea about what she was going to ask next. " So what's really going on between you too? You guys know I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to right."

Me and JJ made eye contact, I was trying to tell if he wanted me to tell her the truth or not, and I think he was doing the same towards me. But before I could say anything he spoke up first, " We're just friends okay! Friends and nothing more." JJ lied

I don't think Sarah fully bought because she started to ask more questions, "So then why did it look like you guys were about to kiss when I opened the door?" She said now smiling thinking we couldn't out smart the question.

" We, we, we were just having a staring contest." JJ explained. Yep she definitely is not going to believe that.

" If that's what you say" Sarah said putting her hands up trying to seem innocent, while beaming for what seemed like the first time in forever. It made me happy that she was actually was happy about something after all she has been through in the past months. " Goodnight love birds!" Sarah giggled as she closed our door and headed back to her room where John B was.

As soon as she closed the door me and JJ moved closer to each other missing the feeling of being close. " Oh she definitely knows" I laughed.

" definitely" JJ said as he pulled me into a kiss. The kiss was deeper than the one on the plane, or even the one on the boat. As the kiss deeper even more JJ took his shirt off as I laid down on the bed and we continued to kiss. After a few minutes we decided to stop not wanting to go any further yet. We just laid next to each on our sides face to face, looking into each other's eyes. " I love you" JJ whispered.
