Chapter 10: Remeber That Night

2 days later ~ Kie's pov:

I could hear the ocean waves crash up against the shore, as the sound of loud music played from one of the speakers Sarah had brought to the boneyard. We were having a party to celebrate us finding the treasure and becoming millionaires. Almost every teenager on the island was at our party, but they don't know what it's to celebrate the fact that we probably are richer than most of their parents now. And yes when I mean everyone I mean everyone, even Rafe Cameron and Topper, and to be completely honest I'm not really sure why they showed up. I'm just hoping they're not planning to cause any trouble cause I don't feel like dealing with the pouges vs kooks shit tonight.

I'm barely in the mood after my parents stopped by the condo earlier today trying to convince me to come home. None of the pouges know about it because they were all out grocery shopping, while I was packing up the other car up we just bought yesterday for the party tonight.

I walked past one of the tables that had drinks on it and grabbed a shot of vodka and downed it in a second before walking over to JJ with 2 beers in my hand one of him and one for me. I just didn't really wanna remember what happened earlier today either my parents and I thought drinking away my feelings would help.

" Hey you okay? I think I've seen you take like 4 shots of vodka tonight and now you have 2 beers in your hand." JJ asked worried about me.

" Oh you know I'm fine. Everything is fine. And by the way one of the beers is for you." I said drunkenly and then handed JJ one of the beer cans I had in my hand.

" You sure you don't look to good." JJ asked trying to pry deeper to find out what was really wrong.

" Yep I'm totally fine." I said as I sliced open my beer can and started to shot gun it. Within a few seconds  small crowd gathered around my shouting Chung, Chung, Chung, until I finished the whole can and threw it on the ground, throwing my hands up in the air.

Shortly after the crowd started to fizzle away leaving it to be just me and JJ again. " Kie you should slow down. Do you want me to take you home?" I looked into his bright ocean blue eyes and just stared into them for probably about 30 seconds, just swaying back and forth trying to find my balance. " Kie" JJ said snapping me out of trance.

" You know you have such beautiful eyes." I said moving closer to him and brushing my hand across his face, and he let me, but for only a few seconds before he moved my hand down to my side but he never let go.

" Thanks for the compliment Kie, but I'm serious you got to slow down I don't want to rush you to the hospital tonight because you have alcohol poisoning. Are you sure you don't want me to take you home?" JJ said still holding my hand, and looking into my eyes.

" I'm not going to get alcohol poisoning I promise. I haven't even had that much to drink tonight. And no I wanna stay here a little bit longer. I don't wanna ruin your night." I said letting go of his hand and walking back to the rest of the party to get another can of beer and to find some more people to talk to.

" Kie," JJ yelled. I slowly turned around to look at him, " Just be safe okay. Find me or text me if you wanna go home early." I nodded at him, and then turned back around to start heading towards the table where the beer was, before I was stopped dead in my tracks.

I looked up to see a tall slender man with dirty blonde hair staring at me. I couldn't really get a good glimpse of his face because my vision was a little distorted from all the alcohol I have drank, and I also might have smoked a joint a little while ago. " Hey Kie." The man said in a husky voice.

I quickly recognized his voice, I knew that me looked just a little bit to formerly. I turned my head around to make sure JJ wasn't anywhere near me. He would kill this man in a matter of seconds if he saw him this close to me right now. " What do you want Rafe?" I asked in an annoyed tone, as I gave him a death stare whiles remaining eye contact.
