The Screams...

Start and End

      I don't know who it comes from. I don't know why I keep hearing it. I don't know why, but I can hear it. Clearly. The scream of someone... A girl. 

      Every night for the past few days, I go outside to write stories and to simply just use my computer. But I sometimes, just for a moment, hear a scream. I don't know whose scream nor voice it is, but it seems to be from the neighborhood. I don't know whose voice it is, I cant recognize it. But it always caught my attention. It's not like I am the only one who hears it... at least I think I'm not the only one. It's strange. There are times when I'm with family members when I hear the scream. It's not loud, but it's also not quiet. 

     Am I hallucinating? Maybe. I don't know. It's not like I haven't hallucinated haring something before. What I found weird is that I heard it a few times before. If I am hallucinating, I think I should've only heard it once or maybe twice... But again, that's what I think. 

   I'm not scared. Maybe because I've been here for years now. It's also not the first time I hears strange noises... Honestly, I found it normal. Who knows? Maybe it's just some random kids? I'm pretty sure the neighborhoods are safe. No one here holds a threat. If so, I'm sure I would've known about it, or at least, overhear some people talking about it.

  Am I scared? No. Do I think I should be scared? Also no. Do I find it strange? Yes. Normal? Also yes. Why? Because it is. Maybe not in some crowded areas and no one reacts to it, I'd find it creepy. But in a rural area which is not crowded but also not alone, where it happens every now and then, I'm just weirded out. 

  

     But who knows if it really is just another random noise?
