Faye was holding Yoko's cup of coffee on one hand the other a paper bag of pastries. She was waiting just outside the call center that Yoko worked at, Lux's car parked just across where the entrance was. Faye had drank at least three mugs of coffee now and still had one inside the car, her eyes were wide awake and so was she but she knew it wouldn't last for more than three hours. She'd messaged Yoko about picking her up and even though the girl was really against it, she insisted. When she found out Yoko often rode on a bike back to her house, she felt alarmed. Yoko lived a good 30 minutes away from her workplace and if she rode on a bike then it would take her almost an hour to get home at this time. That was incredibly dangerous in Faye's head, so she decided to pick the girl up from work and plans to do so in the next coming days.

It didn't take long for Yoko to finally come out the agency, with her now large backpack slung on one should and her body tilted to the side as she walked towards her in nothing but a blue hoodie and pants with rubber shoes. Yoko looked relieved to see Faye waiting for her outside but also was hesitant with the woman's presence. She denied the woman's offer but Faye was insistent on picking her up so she didn't have a choice but to digress and accept the offer.

"You really didn't have to." Yoko pouts as she stood in front of Faye, accepting the warm cup of coffee and the paper bag.

"I don't mind. It's really dangerous for you to be going home at this time, don't you have a class scheduled today?" Faye asks, taking Yoko's slightly heavy bag and placing it on the hood of the car. She gestured Yoko to sit beside her on the hood as  well.

"I normally ride a bike like I told you before but my bike broke down earlier this month so I'd been working overtime and clocking out at seven in the morning instead of three in the morning." Yoko yawns and takes a bite out of the macaroon she had in her hand. She didn't have snacks with her and was silently hungry while she worked, she was thankful Faye bought her something to eat at least.

"That's incredibly dangerous, Yo." Faye says with a frown that Yoko snorted at.

"You look like a grumpy toddler, Ms. Faye." The younger one of the two chuckles. Faye had her arms crossed and was frowning at her.

"Ha ha very funny." Faye rolled her eyes playfully. "But seriously, do you have class today?"

Yoko shook her head, "My schedule is clear until next week on Thursday. I can sleep in and catch up on my sleep now. Don't you have work?"

"I do, but it's not until this afternoon so I have more time to wander around." Faye nods. Both women looked up at the open sky and saw that the vast opening was slowly turning into a hue of purple, it was nearing the break of dawn.

"Wow, I get free food, a free chaperone and a free view of daylight breaking in, I am such a lucky girl this week." Yoko says out in wonder.

Faye looks at her, watching her face light up in utter awe. She felt her stomach go warm and she couldn't help but smile wider. "I know a place we could get a better view of the sunrise, it's not far from here."

Yoko looked at her and nodded. "We should go there!"

Faye grinned and soon enough, they were now driving fast across the city and towards the beach side of Miami, Florida. Faye parked the car near the bay walk and brought Yoko outside just in time to see the sun actually rising. Both women sat back on the hood of the car and watched the scenery with the wind blowing softly on their faces, coffee in their hands and bodies relaxed. Yoko was one to enjoy the actual view of the beach, watching not only the sun but also the morning people jogging along the sandy shore and the view of the yachts and boats on the waters being shadowed over by the beautiful hazel light. The other woman although was far more interested with her silent admiration for the divine being beside her, Faye's eyes were stuck on Yoko's side profile. She watched as the curve of the younger woman's lips. showed her laugh lines tracing up to her cheeks and corners of her eyes. Her nose the most imminent aspect of her. She marvelled at how the gentle morning breeze flew the strands of Yoko's straight hair and how it made her look much more majestic than she already was. The light from the slowly rising sun made Yoko's features glow, a golden aura looming over her. Faye could imagine a halo above her and wings that of an angel on the younger woman. If she could, she would have this moment painted and portrayed on her wall.
