Another new ship....

Luna looked in the mirror, adjusting her outfit for what could've been the hundredth time. She wasn't used to overthinking her outfits, not particularly caring about the thoughts of others.
There was a knock on her door and Xenophilius poked his head through.
"Hi daddy," Luna greeted lightly before peering at herself in the mirror again and asking, "do you think this looks ok?"
Xenophilius frowned slightly, "you always look lovely, my dear."
Luna smiled brightly, "I was thinking about braiding flowers in my hair, maybe some of the pretty pink ones down by the stream?"
"Are you sure you'll have enough time?" Xenophilius asked, checking his watch, and despite the hour hand being missing and the minute hand moving backwards, seemed to know the time, "you have to be at the Weasley's in two hours."
Luna thought for a moment before nodding, "i'll use a spell, I think I have one written down somewhere."
"If you need any help, let me know," Xenophilius said, before shutting the door quietly, his footsteps echoing through the house as he walked down the stairs.

Luna felt the familiar sensation as she apparated from her home to the Weasleys.
Once she appeared, she straightened her skirt one last time and double checked the bouquet before making her way over to the door.
Ginny had told her she didn't need to knock but Luna's nerves were telling her the opposite as she raised her fist to knock. From inside, she heard yells and then footsteps as the door was swung open, revealing Ginny.
Luna smiled brightly at her girlfriend, whose face began to turn the same shade as her hair, "Hi."
Ginny blinked before grinning, "hi."
"Are you two just going to stand there?" Luna heard Mrs. Weasley call from somewhere in the house.
"Come on in," Ginny said, moving so Luna could step into the house.
Taking off her shoes, Luna followed Ginny into the kitchen where Mrs. Weasley bustled around, pots, pans, and silverware flying about.
"Where should I put these?" Luna asked Ginny, gesturing towards the bouquet in her hand.
Ginny smiled and pulled out her wand, summoning a vase and then filling it with water, "put them in here, they'll look beautiful on the table."
Luna carefully placed the flowers in the vase before turning to look at Mrs. Weasley, "need any help, Mrs. Weasley?" Luna asked.
"Oh no, dear," Mrs. Weasley responded, sending Luna a quick smile, "you're a guest," she turned to Ginny, "Ginerva however can come over here and peel the potatoes."
Ginny sighed and grabbed a sack of potatoes and a knife as she began to peel them.
Feeling slightly awkward just standing there, Luna carefully moved around Mrs. Weasley and over to a drawer, where she grabbed a knife similar to Ginny's. She then pulled out a stool, sitting next to Ginny and grabbing a potato. Together, the two quickly peeled the potatoes, casually talking in the process.
At some point, Harry and Hermione had come over, but had quickly disappeared up to Ron's room with little more than quick greetings. They had each been carrying a plastic shopping bag filled with what looked to be boxes of various shapes and sizes.
When Ginny and Luna had finished peeling the potatoes, they stuck up the stairs and over to Ron's room where they could hear laughing and a couple disappointed groans. Ginny knocked and the noises stopped as Ron opened the door.
"What do you want?" He asked, annoyed.
Ginny put her hands on her hips, "we want to know what you three are doing," she snapped back.
"Let them come in Ron, it's more fun with more people anyways," they heard Hermione say from inside the room.
Ron groaned but opened the door, allowing Luna and Ginny to step into the room.
Harry and Hermione sat criss-cross on the floor, the plastic bags they had brought with them thrown on the bed. In each of their hands, they held red cards, another stack placed where Ron had been sitting.
Luna and Ginny stared at the three and then at each other, both confused but curious.
Ron, Harry, and Hermione made room for the two new players and Hermione gave them each seven cards. Luna and Ginny sat in between Hermione and Harry.
In the center of their circle were two stacks, one with red cards similar to the ones they already had in their hands, and another with green cards.
"Soooo," Ginny began, looking down at her cards, "what exactly is going on here."
"We're playing Apples to Apples," Harry said and when Ginny and Luna continued to look confused, he added, "it's an American muggle game."
"Sounds fun," Luna replied enthusiastically, "how do you play?"
After Hermione and Harry had taken turns explaining the rules, the five played until they heard Mrs. Weasley calling them down for dinner.
They all sat at the table and ate, talking in between bites. Laughter filled the small space, the mood relaxed and content.
Luna helped clean up dinner until she noticed the time.
"It's getting late," she said to Ginny, sad that the night had gone by so fast, "I have to get home before daddy starts to worry."
Ginny smiled sadly and pulled her into a hug, "I really don't want you to go, but I understand."
The two pulled away and Ginny walked Luna over to the door.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" Ginny questioned and Luna nodded.
Before she left, Luna tentatively gave Ginny a peck on the lips before grinning and turning away, apparating back home.
