Chapter 2

          The silence of the night is too loud. There are the noises that she is used to hear for days of patrolling. They're outside of the headquarters. Theo sat beside her. They're now both sitting at the bench.

          "What's on your mind? You looked worried." Theo said and looked at the sky. The sky has no stars and the moon is can't be seen. It seems that they know what will happen tonight.

          "I'm not worried. I'm savoring the silence of the night. Later on, it'll be chaotic and loud noises from the clashing blades, hissing metal, and the grunts and gasps of combatants and different sounds of elements." Aella answered.

          "We will end this case today." Theo said as if he is so sure that it will happen.

          "We will." She answered.

          "Why so serious? You know you could just seduce him and make him weak. He's weak to you." She looked at Theo with disgust.

          Aella smacked his shoulders. "I will not do that. That's so disgusting." She replied to him.

          "What? That's a great strategy. Use your beauty to charm them and then smack their head and tie them. Easy. If I'm you, I will you that. You should use your beauty into something useful." He even explains.

          "Don't give me strategies like that. I will not do that." Never in her wildest dreams she will seduce a guy for a case. Never.

          "I'm not forcing you, Aella. I'm suggesting. Maybe you could consider." With that Theo said goodbye.

          Aella stood up and get her things. She saw Captain Kieran waiting for her outside. Beside him is their vehicle. Just a normal one. There are both dress in normal clothes and pretending to be just one of Mr. Alberich maid and guards.

          "Are you ready?" Captain Keiran asked her.

          "More than ready." She answered and entered the cargo. Keiran will drive the cargo. She used a cloak to cover her face. The same with Keiran, his face is covered and they use hats and add more hair to their hair to change their appearance.

          They peacefully reached the mansion of Mr. Alberich. Beside his mansion is the grape farm. Mr. Alberich is not the just a farm owner but own a winery that produce a high-quality wine and also own a tavern.

          They knock twice before they were welcomed at the back door.

          "Welcome to the both of you. I'm the head of the housemaids." The Chief maid welcomed them and let then enter the mansion and gave them the clothes they will need. "Captain, these are the clothes you told me to prepare. I will ask someone to tour you around. Make yourselves comfortable." Then the chief maid left them.

          After waiting. They were toured around and finally setup everything for the night.

          "Is everything okay now?" Captain Kieran asked her?

          Aella nodded. "Yes, Captain. The knights are now assembled and placed in their corresponding roles. We just now have to wait for them to play the game." She added when she saw the Chief maid walking and eavesdropping.

          Aella and Kieran looked into each other. "There is something to that maid." She said.

          "I will keep an eye on her. For now, do your role nicely." Kieran leaved the living room.

          Her role is to pretend as a maid. She's cleaning the hallway near at the office of the Mr. Alberich, who's still busy. She hasn't yet meet him. But he has a lot of painting of himself and his family. She's wondering where is his wife and son. He's alone with the maids in this mansion.
