Chapter 5

"Father." Kai stood up from his seat and faced his father.

          She observed his father. He's screaming of domination, ruthlessness. Is he the leader? His face has scars. Fears consume her whole body as she recognizes him. Her mother and this man, she seen them together during her childhood, but she never seen him again until now. After those years she saw him again and what bothers her is that her had a connection with this man.

          "What are you doing with this girl?" His father asked and his eyes glanced at her.

          "We're having our breakfast father." Kai replied with full of courage. Is he not afraid? His looks mad. His eyes are livid.

          Aella took every effort to restrain herself from asking about his mother. Now is not an appropriate time to make her identify known. It adds up to her motivation to escape.

          "You're eating breakfast with this girl? This girl should be in our prison. Imprisoned her. Having a breakfast with your hostage is something I didn't see coming." He said to Kai and he even pointing a finger on her. He didn't like what is happening. He's definitely the leader of these criminals.

          "That's my question too, Sir." She interfered. "Your son is crazy." She added and emphasize the son.

          "You have a sharp tongue, Miss. Mind your words, you don't know who's your talking." The pissed man of this house is clearly having a bad day. Seeing your son eating with hostage is unbelievable and she wants to laughed.  "Try talking to me again like that and I will send your grandmaster a word about you eating here peacefully. What do you think they will think of you?"

          "Father." Kai tried to interfere.

          Traitor. A traitor. That's the least thing she would want to happen. Imagining their disappointed and angry faces sent a pain straight to her heart.

          "It will never happen again." Aella said like a good girl. Survive. She needs to survive like a prey. This house is their den and predators are scattered around. One wrong moved and she'll be buried alive.

          "Kai, tie her and bring her to the underground." He commanded his son. Kai seems like a little rebel son. He didn't tie her and just escorted her to their underground.

          When they reached the underground, she saw horrible things. It is full of filth and imprisoned individuals, begging for food, water and freedom. Some seems like they had gone mad.

          Aella felt like useless at that moment. She's a knight who can't carry her duty and save individuals. I will escape this hell and I will bring hell to those responsible.

          She walked faster and pretended that she didn't saw them. They put her into their interrogation room and later on the leader entered the whole and forbidden Kai to enter.
