Chapter 24: Revelations

3rd person pov:

The morning sun filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow on the bed where Jungkook and Taehyung lay entwined. Their night had been filled with passion and love, but now Jungkook's expression turned serious.

"Taehyung, there's something I need to tell you," Jungkook said, his voice low and introspective.

Taehyung's eyes narrowed slightly, his gaze locked onto Jungkook's. "What is it?"

Jungkook took a deep breath before continuing. "It's about Minhyun. My ex."

Taehyung's expression turned curious. "What about him?"

Jungkook's eyes dropped, his voice barely above a whisper. "We were in love, or at least I thought we were. But he cheated on me, broke my trust...and my heart."

Taehyung's grip on Jungkook's hand tightened. "I'm so sorry, Jungkook. That must have been incredibly painful for you."

Jungkook's eyes flashed with a hint of anger. "It was. But that's not all. After we broke up, I...I turned to other things to cope with the pain."

Taehyung's gaze never wavered. "What kind of things?"

Jungkook's voice dropped to a whisper. "My mafia work, Taehyung. I threw myself into it, used it to numb the pain. And it worked...until I met you."

Taehyung's eyes softened, his voice filled with understanding. "You don't have to hide from me, Jungkook. I'm here for you, always."

Jungkook's eyes bore into Taehyung's, his voice laced with emotion. "I hated you, Taehyung. I hated our marriage, our arrangement...everything."

Taehyung's expression remained calm, his eyes filled with understanding. "I know, Jungkook. You had every right to."

Jungkook's voice cracked, his words tumbling out in a rush. "But then I got to know you, and everything changed. You changed everything. Your kindness, your patience...your love. It all broke down my walls, one by one."

Taehyung's face softened, his voice filled with warmth. "I knew you were hurting, Jungkook. I could see it in your eyes. But I also saw the good in you, the love you had to give. And I wanted to be the one to receive it."

Jungkook's gaze dropped, his voice barely audible. "I was so blind, Taehyung. I didn't see what was right in front of me. But now...now I can't imagine living without you."

Taehyung's fingers traced Jungkook's jawline, his touch sending shivers down Jungkook's spine. "You don't have to, Jungkook. I'm here for you, always."

Jungkook's eyes snapped back up, his gaze locking onto Taehyung's. "I love you, Taehyung. I love you so much it hurts."

Taehyung's smile was radiant, his eyes shining with happiness. He pecked his lips"I love you too, kookie. More than words can say."
