Y/N's POV:

Haechan never left my side as he yapped on about his hometown and how it was the coolest place in the world. From the time the bus took off he sat next to me, till the time we landed he held my hand tightly.

All I kept on hearing was, Jeju this, Jeju that. Jeju is divine, Jeju has the best beaches, Jeju has the best summer weather. I became sick of it even before the actual holiday.

"Ohh, and did I tell you about the time I went to the beach when I was eleven-" He starts once again but I know this one too well.

"Yes, you had a near shark-attack experience because of how unguarded the beach was." I boredly finish it off for him.

"So you've been listening." He smiles as if him being a professional yapper is something to be proud of.

"No, only that you've said it 100 times!" I snap at him. "And how is this going to bring me closer to Renjun, you're just talking nonsense and I'm tired-mmmm"

I stop speaking because Haechan places his hand over my mouth, covering it. "Shh, you're going to ruin my plan."

His eyes flicker over to something behind me so I turn around to see what he is insinuating.

I don't know if I'm dreaming or hallucinating but I think I just saw Renjun glaring at Haechan as if he's angry at him. Why would he be? Is Haechan's plan actually working. Does Renjun like me back?

I feel the tension build up as he walks, basically storms, past us with So-yeon next to him, so I decide to put my trust in Haechan for a while longer.

"Okay, how long do you give it?" I ask after freeing my mouth from him. (that could've meant something different if this scene were- oh god, what am I saying?)

"Tomorrow, latest." He stands tall and confident.

Renjun's POV:

I have to say I've never been more glad that So-yeon was by my side the entire ride and now. If it weren't for her, I'd have already exploded and had Haechan's head.

He is doing this on purpose, I know he is. For the long time that I've known him, I know that he'd already figured out that I liked Y/N. I mean, I wasn't the most discreet with it anyways, seeing how I couldn't hide my emotions.

So that little rat is doing this just to make me react. It's not rocket science to figure that out.

Not that I don't want to tell Y/N how I feel about her, it's just that I want her to find out in the best way possible. Not because I would be jealous and end up beating Haechan. No, I can't risk it.

"It's still noon, sha'll we go for a swim?" So-yeon asks once we've dumped our bags and suitcases in our respective rooms at the resort we're in.

"Sure, I'll just go and change. You tell the others." I stand up, thinking that submerging my entire body in water will probably cool me down.

When I reach the pool, surprisingly everyone is already there in their bathing suits. It almost looks like a pool party with no decor.

So-yeon is busy floating on a floatie, while Jaemin is holding a camera on while relaxing one of the pool loungers . I notice that she is secretly trying to splash water on him as he is unaware and focused on taking pictures of everyone.
