𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐅𝐓 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 of Ava's old radio was heard in Stevie's office as she charted on her 7 am surgery and hummed along to the music. As she continued typing and humming along to Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, which played on a low volume a knock was heard at the door. "Come in." the blonde said as she entered a charge in the patient's chart.
Natalie walked in with a coffee cup in her hand and closed the door behind her. "Hey hon, you've been going nonstop since 6 this morning, so I thought you could use a pick-me up."
Stevie turned around in her chair and smiled at her close friend. Standing from the comfort of her chair, she walked over and embraced the brunette. "You are an angel. Thank you so much." she smiled graciously as she accepted the cup of coffee and took a sip. "So, how are things going in the ER?"
Natalie sat down in the chair in front of Stevie's desk, and sipped her own drink, then answered, "Busy, but you never told me how the date with Connor went.
"It was great, we went to Golf N' Stuff and he beat me at air hockey." Stevie said as she set her coffee cup down
"Wait a second, how could he beat you at air hockey? You're unbeatable." Natalie asked
Stevie blushed as she ran a hand through her long blonde hair. "I know, but I guess I was too busy staring at him, I couldn't help it. The way his muscles looked when his hands were on that table."
"Well, I think you two look great together." Natalie smiled. "Anyway, I better get back out front. See you later." she said as she opened the door and left
"Alright, see you later." Stevie smiled as she resumed her charting and resumed her music
Stevie typed in the last note on the chart as dhe resumed her music, when her phone began to ring. She glanced at the caller id, which read Uncle Johnny. "Hey uncle Johnny what's up?" the blonde asked as she put the call on speaker so she could finish her notes
"What time do you get off work?" Johnny asked. Stevie could tell by his voice he was frustrated.
"Well, I get off at 4:30." Stevie said. "Is everything okay?"
"I need some help over here at the dojo." Johnny said. "I know you're savvy with buisness shit, can you help me?"
"Alright, give me a little while and I'll be there." Stevie said
