Kris

"Kristen! Phone down! Its about to start!" I had to stop my eyes from rolling at Willow Nightingale's words. She was the one that had dragged me out to this silly concert when all I had wanted to do was sleep. Did she really expect me to not at least want to check my phone?

"Fine. Fine. But you better not be lying about them being good." Willow scoffed and I laughed. "You and I both know we have different tastes in music."

"You'll like it I promise." Her smile was infectious and I couldn't help but smile back before the lights on the stage in front of us finally came on. Lord were we close, close enough to touch the stage and I hadn't even realized. I shouldn't have been on autopilot today but it was just one of those days today.

"How in the hell did you get these tickets?" I questioned her before she laughed and turned me back towards the stage.

"An old friend had some leftover tickets and gave them to me. Don't worry about it just relax and enjoy the show." I couldn't help my eye roll and knew she saw it when her elbow went into my side.

"Look I'm sorry I just don't know what you expect from me. It's not like I'm...." I trailed off as the singer and their band took the stage.

"Not like you're what?" I could hear the smirk in her voice but didn't respond as my eyes fell upon the guitarist. "Little birdie told me he's single...."

"You know I'm not looking." She laughed at my words.

"Doesn't mean you can't have some fun. Like I said. Just relax and have fun Kris." Just as she stopped talking the music started. Yeah.... She was right. I did enjoy the band. But I couldn't take my eyes off of the guitarist. "Having fun?" Willow questioned after the third song.

"More than I thought." A giddy squeal escaped her lips and somehow it caught the guitarists attention. He looked in our direction and his eyes locked with mine. Fuck his eyes could melt me.... They were bright green and captivating. There was a slight sparkle in his eyes before his line of sight dropped back to his guitar. However now he had a slightly crooked smile along his lips as he played. Fuck it. One good look at him wouldn't kill.

"Ooooooo Kris wants some." I could hear Skye Blues words but they were ignored as my eyes scanned the body on stage. He was tall, tanned skin, tattoos flowed across his right arm but I couldn't get a good look at them due to his strumming. He was muscular but not overly and he seemed so relaxed on stage. My eyes trailed back to his face and I couldn't help but bite the inside of my cheek. I thought it was discreet but knew it wasn't when I heard Skye speak again. "We've gotta get her to come out tonight."

I ignored the rest of their words as I got a good look at his face. The crooked smile still remained along his lips surrounded by a well kept short beard. His hair was hidden by a baseball cap and all I wanted to do was take it off so I could see what was beneath it. All I could tell that his hair was light brown by the few pieces that stuck out beneath the cap.

"Ladies and gentleman...." The singers words broke my focus on the guitarist. "Please give it up for the one person who has been my rock through this entire thing. My best friend and lead guitarist Zeke." I couldn't help that my eyes flicked back to the guitarist. His eyes met mine once again as I swear he started to turn red. Quickly he gave a wave to the crowd who was cheering before turning and grabbing a solo cup he had sitting on his amp. To say he was interesting was an understatement. One second he was filled with confidence and the next he was red as a tomato and hiding.

Zeke

"You know I hate when you do that." I could hear Teddy's laugh as I grabbed my drink.

"You really should be used to it by now." My eyes rolled as he laughed more before I took a long drink while he talked to the crowd more. I turned back towards the crowd as he introduced the next song and once more my eyes found their way to the captivating hazel pair in the front row.

"Ask her out Butters! Don't be a little bitch!" The words were said by our drummer through a special earpiece that only us on stage could hear. I couldn't help but laugh at his words until I heard our pianist speak up.

"At least give her your number. She's been checking you out from the start." My head shook as I laughed. Yes she was hot and completely my type but giving my number to a complete stranger was a no go. We all knew our conversation was getting to Teddy as he slipped his earpiece out. As we went back to playing I couldn't help but glance at the woman in the front row who kept doing the same back. Her eyes were just as intriguing as her tattoos but as curious as I was about her I knew better than giving in to a random stranger.

"You're coming out tonight right?" Teddy questioned me after the show. My eyebrows pushed together at his weird question. He knows I always go out after the show.

"Always do. Why?" I questioned back but got nothing. My eyes rolled before I secured my guitar in its case. Typical shady Teddy always planning something behind my back. "You better not be setting me up with anyone."

"I know better than that." Teddy replied but his smirk said everything. He was definitely planning something. "Just drink and have some fun would you." I couldn't help but laugh.

"I do when you idiots don't plan shit behind my back." Teddys eyes rolled at my comment.

"Get your panties out of their bunch Butters and lighten up. We just wanna see you relax and enjoy yourself." A sigh escaped my lips.

"And once again I'll say. I do when y'all don't plan shit." He hit me on the back of my head and I knew the conversation was done with. Growing up together does that to people. We could have a conversation without even speaking. I ran my hand over my face before going into the green room. Everyone was getting ready for going out and all I wanted to do was cool off before baking under the lighting in the club. I flopped down onto the couch as I pushed my hat backwards. Hopefully I could get five minutes to chill.

"Nope no way come on." Andrea said pulling me off of the couch and into a makeup chair.

"I don't need fucking makeup to go out." She laughed at me.

"No. No you don't which is why I'm getting it off your face. Now shut your shit and lemme work." It was my turn to laugh before she shut my mouth and gave me the look that I've seen since I was ten that said quit fucking around.

"Alright. Alright. Get this shit off of me. Don't know why you put it on me anyway." Her eyes rolled and I knew I was going to get the same explanation I got every time I questioned it.

"You need it because it makes your eyes pop on stage. Even when you choose to wear those godawful yellow sunglasses." I tried to laugh but her hand holding my chin stopped me from doing so. Finally she got the crap off of my face before releasing me. What the fuck were we even talking about before? Eh.... Who cares.... I really just want to get drunk tonight and maybe have fun.

Maybe.
