HER FEET HIT the ground beneath her over and over again as she ran through the forest, the trees towering above her, their leaves whispering in the wind. The sun was long gone as the moon was out, its blue hues glowing through the branches. As she sprinted, her heart racing, she could hear the crunch of twigs beneath her feet. Run! His voice never leaving her mind as she continued.

After what felt like an eternity, she burst out of the dense forest and found herself on a quiet road. The girl paused, her chest heaving, as she took in the sight of the road stretching into a small town. The sky was painted in hues of dark blue and black, signaling the deep night.

Breathing in the cool night air, she felt a sense of accomplishment wash over her. The road offered a sense of direction, a path to follow. You made it, Love. Aurora could almost hear the accent in her head as she smiled softly at the thought of him.

Soon the realization of her hunger came crashing down on her happiness. She felt her knees buckle as she sat there on the road, her body too exhausted to even walk. She closed her eyes as she sat there just enjoying the cold air until she saw bright light stopping in front of her.

Slowly she brought her hand to her face, in an attempt to block out the light, "Can I help you?" That was the first voice of a stranger Aurora had heard in a long time. "You okay there?"

The Salvatore's girl's eyes slowly adjusted as she looked up to see an older woman with short blonde hair. In what looked like a modern version of a police uniform, "Yeah, I-uhm am lost."

"Oh, well where are you from?" The older woman asked her as she grabbed a small syringe from her pocket, which went totally unnoticed by Aurora. "Maybe I can help?"

Aurora slowly got to her feet as she looked around some more before turning to the woman in front of her. "I don't- I have no idea," Aurora said as she bit her lips. Without the girl even realizing she was looking down at the neck of the older woman in front of her, "I think you should go."

Elizabeth Forbes looked at her slightly puzzled on why the girl she already suspected of being a vampire hadn't already bit on her. "You sure? I think you do need help."

The brown haired girl tried to fight the feeling within her. She ripped her eyes away from the neck of the older woman as she looked her right in the eye, "Please just go." Liz felt somewhat sorry for the girl as she saw her desperate expression on her face.

Liz steps forward ready to use the vervain on the girl in front of her only to see Aurora looking down at the syringe before looking back up at the sheriff in front of her. Her face no longer laced with desperation but with betrayal.

"You know, don't you," her voice was oh so soft yet a hint of anger behind it. And without a warning Elizabeth tried to jab the syringe in her neck only for Aurora to catch her hand halfway. The grasp Aurora had on her hand was enough for the syringe to fall to the ground. Her bare feet stepping on it to break it. "I told you to go."

Without another moment of hesitation, the brown haired girl attached her fangs to the side of her neck. Earning a blood curdling scream from Liz.

"Hey!" A shout was heard from behind the two as Aurora slowly turned around. A average aged man standing there with a crossbow with another man standing next to him with a raven colored hair.

The girl didn't have time to examine the two before the man with the crossbow fired. A stake being driven into her flesh. Aurora looked down at her chest before looking up at the two man in front of her, the stake brushing her heart. "Aurora?" A voice she remembered all too well.

Damon raced over to the girl as her knees buckled from beneath her. Her older brother catching her before she could hit the ground. And right when she thought she was going to die, Damon ripped the stake out of her flesh.

"D-Damon?" Was all the girl could say before her vision turned black. Her body passing out from exhaustion, lack of blood and her wound that was created by the stake.

Alaric walked over to stand next to Liz as he looked down at his best friend, "You know her?"

The raven haired boy could only nod as he looked at his sister's face in awe. He had no idea she turned into a vampire. His hand brushing the hairs away from her face as he caressed her cheek, "She's my little sister."
