Coffee Shop (GenMui)

Chapter One: Regular Customer

(Narrator POV)

Muichiro was a college student who worked at the coffee shop that's right down the road from the Dorm Room building. Genya was a skater boy...he loved skateboarding around town and going to skateparks..Genya had a crush on Muichiro and Muichiro had a crush on Genya they just didn't know it yet...Around 4:30 P.M. Muichiro had finished his homework and was going to the coffee shop...once he got to the coffee shop he had put on his apron and stood at the counter waiting for customers.

(Muichiro POV)

I was standing at the counter watching as people had dipped their coffee. Most of the customers were either in college and chose the coffee shop to study and others were either old couples on dates or teenagers on dates. I looked at the door as the skater boy, Genya, had walked in and he had always come to the coffee shop at the same time..4:40... Every day. Genya and I started to become friends from Chatting so much. I smile and wave at Genya and get a wave back from him. "Hello Genya!" I smile widely "Hey Mui! I'd like my usual" Genya responded happily "Got it" I smiled and started making his usual Iced latte with extra creamer. "Here you go! It'll be...¥985 like always" I say as I slide the drink over the counter to him "thanks!" He smiles and hands me the money and I put it in the cash register giving him back his change then I watch him walk to the table he props his skateboard up on the table then sits down. I was starting to stare at him for a bit too long and the next customer had to grab my attention.. "Hey..umm excuse me?" The customer says "huh what? Oh yeah sorry uh how...how may I take your order?" I smile as I take the next customer's order my face was red and I was embarrassed.
After about an hour it was past time to close up... Genya was still here playing on his phone... everyone was gone ..I walked over to him "hey Genya..you know we closed like 15 minutes ago right?" I tilt my head as I ask "oh yeah I know I just...uh.." he looks away and I look confused "I just wanted to...wait...uh...um.. until you were...um f-..free... because I uh...I ...I wanted to uh...a-ask..you ...s-some-...thing..." He had a deep red blush "yes what is it? I sit down in the chair across from him "um...well... I got free tickets to a...um ..con-..concert and um...I have an extra ticket...no..no one from school wanted to go with me because it's a metal concert...so...uh..I wanted to ask if you'd like to come?" He mumbles and starts to pick at his hands...I reach across the table and put my hands on his to stop him from picking "just tell me the time and date and I'll go" he was blushing even more now "really? Thanks!...uh...give me your phone number so I can text you because I don't have all the details yet...it was just some tickets my brother got and he realized they were the wrong ones so yeah" he shrugs "sure thing" I smile and write my number on a paper then hand it to him "here you go... Just text me the details when you get them and I'll take a day or two off work to join.. I mean I kinda need a break anyways" I smile softly...my hands were still on top of his...I felt him grab my hand as we looked at each other in the eyes...
