"She's not yours to have." Taehyung sneers at him.
"Yours. Mine. Ours." Jungkook shrugs as he fixes her hair tie on his wrist.
Taehyung's eyes stare at the tie in his possession before glaring at him.

As the Coven gets ready for the games, the house's usual bustle for things like this falls very flat.
Valerie helps Genesis with her hair, oiling her scalp and rubbing it in. The quiet would be serene if not for the obvious tension in the place. There's an elephant in the home that no one dares to walk by or acknowledge.
Genesis is drawn from her thoughts at the sound of knocking. The three knocks are determined, calm. Like the person behind them is there on business.
"Come in." Genesis calls.
Avery opens the door and stands in the doorway. She sets her eyes on Valerie, barely looking at Genesis at all. Hoseok stands not too far behind her, cradling a sleeping orange kitten.
"Avery..." Genesis greets her quietly, voice almost in a whisper, surprised to see her there on her own volition.
"Lady Genesis." Avery bows to her, as if suddenly remembering that she has to. Her mother gulps thickly at the sight. Avery immediately turns her attention back to Valerie.
"I've brought by the Lady's clothing for the Games." She holds the hangers up. "Where should I set them?"
"On the bed is fine." Valerie says, watching the absent look in Avery's eye. She walks over and sets the clothes down, her steps quiet, almost unheard.
Avery walks back to the doorway and bows her head. "Lady Genesis."
"Wait, you're leaving already?" Valerie voices, surprised. They've always worked together to get Genesis ready. Valerie has almost never done it by herself. It's such a rare occurrence.
Avery blinks at Val. "Did you need my assistance with something further?"
"Well... no, but... we usually do this part together." Valerie says softly.
"But it was never necessary." Avery states.
Valerie opens her mouth to speak, but cannot find the words to say. So she simply nods.
"...right. Sorry."
"It is not your fault. We can see each other later tonight, after the games are over. I'm sure Hoseok wouldn't mind being away from me for a little while." She looks back at him.
He grins softly. "Of course not. Enjoy your girl time, my love."
Genesis bites the inside of her cheek, feeling awkward, as if she's the intruder of her own room.
"See? So I will see you later tonight then." She walks out of the bedroom, closing the door behind her.
Unintentionally using her Astral ability, Genesis is able to see as if the walls are just mirages, shadows of themselves.
