We were on our way to one of the off campus facilities to do a rescue training exercise. Which I was super excited about. Rescuing innocent people is the main reason I want to be a hero. I want to help people who aren't strong enough to help themselves. I know it sounds super stupid and corny but it's the truth.

"Hello everyone I've been waiting for you." Thirteen said as we walked in, unlike the rest of my class meeting people like this doesn't surprise me, I've grown up with them, "I can't wait to show you what's inside."

We followed Thirteen inside and it was amazing, everything looked so cool. Honestly my favorite training ground we've done yet. There was everything there that we needed to practice rescuing. And by everything I mean everything.

"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, et cetera. I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disasters. I call it the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. But you can call it, USJ!" Thirteen announced as my dad walked over.

After my dad and Thirteen discussed under their breaths for a moment Thirteen spoke up again, "Listen carefully. I'm sure you're aware that I have a powerful quirk. It's called Black Hole. I can use it to suck up anything and turn it into dust."

"Yeah, you've used black hole to save people from all kinds of disasters before haven't you?" Midoriya asked.

"That's true, but my quirk could also very easily be used to kill. Some of you also have powers that can be dangerous. In our superhuman society, all quirks are certified and stringently regulated, so we often overlook how unsafe they can actually be. Please don't forget that if you lose focus or make the wrong move, your powers can be deadly. Even if you're trying to do something virtuous like rescue someone. Thanks to Aizawa's fitness tests, you have a solid idea of your Quirks potential. And because of All Mights combat training, you likely experienced how dangerous your powers can be when used against other people. Carry those lessons over to this class. Today you're going to learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. You won't be using your powers to attack enemies or each other, only to help. After all, that's what being a hero is all about. Ensuring the safety of others. That's all I have to say, thank you so much for listening."

"Right now that that's over." My father spoke and the lights started to flicker with electicity and it got dark for a moment when a portal of some type started to form.

"That's not normal." I mumble.

"Stay together and don't move. Thirteen protect the students, Annie you're with me." My dad said and I nodded when I felt a hand grab mine and I turn to see Todoroki.

"You're not actually going with him are you?" Todoroki asked quietly.

"You're worried?" I smile, I mean he did walk me home yesterday which was sort of cute not going to lie, "Well don't be, I'll be fine."

I then run up beside my dad watching as villains started coming out, "This is real. Those are villains."

My dad and I put our matching glasses on and I took a deep breath. This would be the first time I fight real villains. I would do combat training with my dad all the time. But this is the first time it would be real.

I had to keep my mind focused to cancel out their quirk. I didn't just get my dad's quirk it's part of my puppetry. Soon I'll be able to control people without touching them but that's not going to happen so soon.

"Don't die." Dad said before his scarf started floating and I nod, that should be simple enough right, "Thirteen get them out of here and report to the main campus... actually if they've got the ability to block our sensors, then they might be jamming our regular communications too. Kaminari, try using your quirk to contact the school."

"What are you gonna do? You can't fight them on your own!" Midoryia shouted and by now my nerves were way high, some of these villians looked like they could rip someone like me in half, "There's too many of 'em. Even if you can nullify their quirks, your fighting style's not suited for this. Your power works best in stealth and one-one-one fights. That's not gonna help with a group."

My dad looked down at me as I continued to assess the situation, trying to find the best way to go at this. I have ten fingers, I can control ten people. One strip per finger. But my mind gets overloaded the more people I try to control. Causing me to sometimes pass out, which won't help at all in this situation.

My dad jumped and I gasp when his scarf wrapped around my wrist pulling me with him. Oh shit, this is really happening. Oh no, I'm going to die. What was I thinking, I wasn't ready for this!

I try everything to calm my mind and I can't, but I have to do something fast. We'll land on the ground any second now and I won't be able to calm my mind then. I take one big deep breath and I can feel my breath shake a little as I exhale. But once I open my eyes I'm ready.

I open my eyes helping my dad canceling quirks as he jumps down in one group, wrapping his scarf around people. I fall into another group and run around, tapping each of them on the arm. Strings form around my fingers and around each of their wrists and ankles.

I focus my mind and then lift and throw around my arms, sending those I had control over against anything that was near me. And each time a string disappeared I would tap a new enemy trying my best to keep up. I had to use my legs to fight off those that I didn't have control over. It was over stimulating but I was still consious so that's a good sign.

I keep going, trying to keep up with the enemies running at me. I kick a few against walls, throw others against the ground. Tie the strings around my fingers to things I can find, making villains just float in the air unable to move.
