Chapter 19 Presentation

(Sorry this chapter is short I'm dealing with major writers block and I wanted to get you guys a chapter since chapter 20 will be the last chapter)

I sat in the car at Adriens school staring at the sketch book and the fragile pages of the people I drew" Honey you don't have to do this if you don't want too, I'm sure he'd understand" I carefully flipped the page and it was the drawing I did of Cora and her Dad, I bawled up my fist and fought the tears "No, I promised him I'd do it" " I know it's hard to talk about it to people you don't know-" "No it's hard when your son is fascinated with the thing that killed over 1,500 people and almost killed us" "I was supposed to protect Cora, her parents were all she had left, all her other family left her and I promise I wouldn't do that, we just bonded. It felt like I had a daughter..." "Babe" I looked at her and then got out of the car " Lets go" I helped her out and we walked in getting our visitor passes and then walked down to his class"Mom, Dad!" He said "Everyone these are my parents, Jack and Rose Dawson, and they were on the Titanic" "Lair!" A random kid called from the classroom before the teacher hushed him "Mr. and Mrs Dawson, I'm so glad you decided to come. I'm sure the kids would love to hear your stories" Rose smiled at her then looked at the class "Hello kids, I'm Rose and this is my Husband Jack" "We heard you guys are learning about the Titanic" "Yeah" another kid called out after Rose talked" Well I have a sketch book that has people I drew on the Titanic" I stepped up to a desk and opened it to Cora and her Dad and showed it to the class and then the one of a man I drew in 3rd class" "Any questions so far?" The teacher asked "What class were you in?" A kid asked "Well my wife was in first class and I was in third class" "So did you guys meet after it sank? Like on the Carpathia or something?" "No actually I met him on the ship, it's kinda a love story " Rose laughed. I could tell she was thinking about how we ran from Lovejoy and snuck around " Did it really split in half!" Another kid yelled "Yes it did. We were on the Stern of the ship when it split and stayed on until it was submerged in water" She answered "Are those people in the drawings dead?" A girl asked in the middle row " Lindsay! That is not an appropriate question to ask!" The teacher scolded her "No, no, it's fine. Yes they did die" I said softly "If you were in third class how did you meet her?" "Well I met her on the stern of the ship-" I was cut off by the bell and the kids started grabbing their bags and Adrien handed me the sketch book "Bye Mom, bye Dad see you after school" He gave us a hug and went off to his class. Rose and I stayed for a few more classes talking with the teacher on her lunch break and during passing periods then we went home " Today was fun" I sat at the table in the kitchen as she was getting herself a drink " Yeah, it was" She said sitting down next to me grabbing my hand "I can't believe we went through that. I mean I loved going on the Titanic and all the fun moments we had but I still can't believe they happened" "Yeah me either"
