The sounds inside the observation room were gone in an instant when they saw Izuku get caught in the explosion, his body flying a full 10 feet from the blast center.

Melissa had dropped her pen and starred with tears welling up in her eyes, she wasn't alone as Mei, Toshinori and new arrivals had all had similar reactions.

The new arrivals were detective Naomasa, The Wild Wild Pussy Cats and the boy Izuku rescued during the summer camp all those months ago Kota Izumi.

Originally upon seeing Izuku's new hero persona Kota was unsure how to feel, but then seeing him in action he quickly became supportive and started cheering him on.

But now after seeing his hero explode, the kid had gone catatonic after that with his aunt shaking him and trying her best to console him.

The woman who were crushing on him weren't any better, Melissa's father had gone and tried to tell Melissa that Izuku was fine but that was obviously not the case.

Mei clutched her armrest with trepidation and fear wafting off of the poor girl, she wanted to go see Izuku but Power loader's arm kept her in her seat, and no matter the insults she threw at him the teacher wouldn't budge.

The worst however was Nemuri and Rumi who had to be restrained and or consoled by the others in the room, all the while Nezu watched on at the state of the room.

He had already dismissed Chiyo to go heal Izuku and put a pause on the exam for the time being, while waiting on that the rodent turned to the screens showing the Batman being wheeled off in an ambulance.

'I wish I didn't have to push you so hard young man, but you did tell me all those months ago that you wished for me to push you to your limits and beyond even those.' Thought the principal.

Next to the principal sat Aizawa who was leaned forward with his hands together, his fingered interlaced as he stared at the live feed from inside the ambulance.

"Nezu, how was an explosive that powerful approved?" He asked simply yet firmly, with the others looking in the principal's direction having wanted to ask the same.

The rat god continued to look at the screen as he addressed the question "When Izuku came to me all those months ago he had one request going into the exam."

The room was silent mulling over what Nezu meant, that was until Gran Torino asked "And what may that be?"

"Izuku wanted me to not go easy on him and treat the situation as if I was actually orchestrating to kill him, I originally denied the request outright but he said something that made me reconsider."

He paused gathering his thought and causing the others to tense "He told me that his whole life he was an outcast, a thing people regarded as less significant than trash. Before he met Yagi and came under his teachings he was basically brainwashed by how many times people put him down to the point he couldn't see himself becoming a hero while quirkless, even thinking his life wasn't as important as others and still isn't to an extent."

The girls gasped and teared up, some having been crying already cried even harder with Kota not far behind.

"But, what exactly does that have to-" Present Mic started but was cut off by Melissa.

The blonde speaking from experience "As someone who happens to be quirkless, I can see where he's coming from. My experience isn't that bad due to I-island being more accepting of people and their quirks or lack there of, but here in Japan it's another story. I can't imagine how he was treated, especially with Japan's policy of taking bulling not that seriously as other country's do."
